Intro

Elegant Angel is a DVD movie download site with hardcore title from this studio's movie library. There are well over a thousand movies available so it has a nice sized collection even though it's dedicated to their one studio. Guests can get a nice preview of what they have available by the open-book set-up of the guest tour and streaming preview trailers are also available. Movies cover all the popular niches with all different types of white and ethnic models plus they do have a lot of anal videos which is something many surfers are likely to enjoy.

The Pros

Elegant Angel DVD Collection, Sizable Amount of Videos.

Studio collections like this are very entertaining and a nice change of pace from other DVD sites that have a mish-mash of content from different sources. Elegant Angel does nicely in terms of quantity. There are several hundred full DVDs putting the total number of individual scenes at well over a thousand. The action covers everything hardcore with pro pornstar babes and I like the mix of white, black, asian, and latina pornstars. The anal niche category is quite big and they also seem to have a lot of ass play, big tit, and squirting movies.

Full-Scene Downloads & Flash, 100's of of 1080p HD Scenes.

Movie options include MP4 and WMV for downloading along with in-browser Flash streaming. The newer movies go with MP4 full-scene downloads in 1920x1080 8000k HD quality along with a 720p level too. There are several hundred in the HD level so it's about 1/3 of the total movies. Mid-range and older movies have MP4 full files and WMV for downloading. The Flash streaming is high-quality, buffers quickly, and allows for immediate jumping around.

Daily Updates, Content Items are Date-Stamped.

These guys tend to update daily with what usually seems like two new video scenes. Sometimes this varies but it seems like the standard. They post vague update info on the log and member's main page like added "1 day ago" or "3 months ago" however on the individual scenes pages themselves they show specific dates.

Other Good Stuff:

There is a dedicated section just for the HD movies making those easy to locate. Other navigation aids include a model index, niche categories, and lots shoot details on the movie pages (video file sizes, scene length, performers, DVD series, written description, etc).
They have a behind-the-scenes section with a few dozen scenes available which adds a little something extra to the collection.
These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.

The Cons

Video Format Choices Vary, No WMV on Newer Additions.

Going through the collection I found some different options available depending on the age of the scene. Newer movies have MP4 in two HD levels and one standard level but no WMV at all. Slightly older HD have just the top 1080p HD and then a WMV format and standard MPG. Older movies with just the standard qualities can have either the WMV or MPG, not both. So as a user you will find different choices throughout this archive and I am surprised that they left off WMV on the newer movies.

Older Movies Have More Average Qualty & Specs.

The high-def movies constitute around 1/3 of the total movies so that does leave a majority of scenes with just standard-def options. Older movie can have resolutions around 720x480 or 640x4580 and 2000k or 1500k bit rates. Older Flash players are also more medium sized rather than large like on the newer movies.

Minor Negatives:

The HD movies files are quite sizable at around 1.0-2.0GB so they do take some time to save as the download speeds are average here. I was getting around 650-700KB/sec which is typical for a lot of paysites I look at.
Although this essentially a video site they do have a photo gallery section. That area is quite small with just over one hundred galleries and it's updated only occasionally.

Bottom Line

A solid archvie of Elegant Angel studio content with all sorts of hardcore & full-HD level downloads.

The most distinguishing characteristic of Elegant Angel is that it is a dedicated collection of content from a single studio. Second are the HD level movies which are very impressive with both full 1080p HD and then a 720p second option. On the negative side there are some video format options and quality level that vary and it is noteworthy that they've stopped using WMV on newer additions which is unusual. Overall it's a very nice single-studio video download site.
