Intro

BF Collection or BoyFun is a long running gay site featuring thousands of downloadable videos and photo galleries. The site has been around since the late 1990's giving it a nice track record. As the title implies they do focus on young adult guys but beyond that they have a wide ranging collection covering solo and hardcore along with guys with all different body types and ethnicities. The amateur theme is also in play here as the majority of models are much more everyday looking than polished pornstar types.

The Pros

Exclusive Solo/Hardcore Shoots, 1000s of Galleries & Videos.

BoyFun has the overarching concept of hot young adult guys and they have a wide ranging collection of content relating to that theme. The models have much more of an amateur feel rather than pro and they have a mix of trim, slim, and muscular guys including white and all different ethnicities. The action includes a lot of solo guy stripping and jerking off along with hardcore guy/guy. Quantity is a real strength with several thousand of both galleries and videos and a couple thousand models.

WMV Videos, Newer Scenes with MP4 HD, Gallery Zips.

This is one of those sites that has been around a long time and therefore the content options and quality varies depending on the age of the shoot. They've steadily improved things and newer videos include WMV and MP4 full-shoot files and clips in MP4 HD and high quality WMV. In-browser Flash steaming is another option and the photo galleries have online photos along with zip downloads. Newer photos top out at 3000x2000.

Navigation Includes Niche Categories, Model Index, & Search.

The member's area layout is clean with a professional look. They have content niche sections for Amateurs, Teens, Athletes, Outdoors, Ethnics, Hardcore, and Movies. A model index and advanced search/filter tool are both also helpful features for navigation. The member's home page includes a log of recent additions so overall things are straightforward and pretty user-friendly.

Other Good Stuff:

Updates are made daily to the photo galleries and five times a week for video scenes. All content items are date-stamped which is helpful here since the site has been around for more than a decade.
File size information is posted for all the downloadable videos.

The Cons

Lower Quality Older Vids & in Parts, No Zips for Many Galleries.

One you move back to the scenes from a couple years back the content changes are noticable. The video formats are often limited to just WMV with nly clip segments or parts without the full-scene file. Also the Flash streaming isn't available on older shoots. Looking at the photo galleries a good chunk of the sets don't have zip downloads. From what I found it was around 2007 that they began adding that feature.

No Model Bio or Info Provided, Some Guys with Photos Only.

Considering the type of content here and that they do have exclusive stuff it's surprising that the model index doesn't have any biographical info on the guys at all. Also, depending on the model the amount of content and availability of pictures/videos does vary quite a bit with some guys only having a couple galleries without any video scenes.

Minor Negatives:

In the videos section they don't tag or mark the scenes with any HD label. You have to navigate to the actual shoot page to see if they have that level.
Some of the WMV videos marked 'full-HD' are actually more like 854x480 4000k which look good but that resolution isn't actually high-def.

The other

There is a section of bonus content including videos, photos, and ezines.

Bottom Line

BoyFun is a large gay site with thousands of solo/hardcore galleries & videos.

Entertainment value and quantity are both notable positives for BF Collection. The site has been around for a long time and improved some other areas along the way including the pic/vid options which are strong on newer additions. The lower options on older shoots and lack of model info are the main negatives here. Overall it's a very solid site with a nice mix of action and models while holding true to its young adult guy theme.
