1PassForAllSites (as they call it) is up for review today, and of course it's a network of sites, as expected with a name like that. On a side note, wouldn't it be cool if you could actually buy one password that got you into ALL sites out there? Anyhow, the sites here feel a little dated, probably because most of them are. Niches such as daddies, teachers, and of all things bums just bring up memories from several years ago when these were all the norm. They have a few sites that are still updating, but not many. On top of that, it's a bit expensive to get inside at $35 a month, which is higher than usual I'd say.
The Pros
Lots of content overall!
As with most network sites out there, if you add everything up, there's a lot of content here overall. Our content counters guess at around 1,400 videos, which seems pretty close to me. And as I said, some sites are still active, so the numbers should go up, albeit slowly.
Video quality can be good.
Considering that they have no high-definition videos here, I'd say the quality is actually good overall. They get up there in terms of the SD video they do offer, and the videos look good. The older videos don't look as nice though, and a good amount of the content is older here. So it's a mixed bag, but the potential is there.
Other Good Stuff:
The downloads here came in quite fast, even on just a single-channel browser download. Go get all the large files!
It's nothing fancy, but you can browse around their sites while only entering your password once, which is great.
The Cons
Very few sites actually updating.
Out of the 25 sites here, there are around four that are updating regularly. Another couple have updates in the last couple months, and the rest are just dead in the water basically. That's not a very good proportion here, so don't expect to find much new here.
Streaming videos only in small parts.
The streaming video setup is pretty bad, for two reasons actually. The main one is that they only come in small parts, as in 10 clips per video you have to click on. The WMV versions work great, but the newer ones that have Flash too aren't as good. The Flash player doesn't let you jump ahead, ever. It's weird.
No central network content section.
Unfortunately, since they're a little older, there's no central network area to view all the content in one place. Of course, that also means there's no search feature, categories, models index, etc. You're stuck browsing one site at a time, and while they do provide a central list of updates, it's still a pain to make sure you're seeing all the new content.
Minor Negatives:
At $35 a month, it's on the way higher end of normal for what we see in terms of costs for these sites.
As far as the videos go, only WMV videos are offered if you're into downloading, which may not be the best choice for everyone.
Bottom Line
A pretty standard network of a couple years ago that has decent content, but no real features.
It's a pretty basic collection of sites in the end, and thankfully there's a decent amount of content up here at 1 Pass For All Sites. I think the size really helps them, as it's the main thing that really stands out to me. The sites themselves feel a little older, and many of them are with the latest updates coming over two years ago. The options are lacking in terms of downloads and navigation, and as you go back further in time, the quality starts to get lower as well of course. It's a decent collection as is, but it doesn't quite compete with the newer/active networks we see today. I'd say it's good for a month (or a few) to check out what they have if you like the site themes, but I couldn't imagine sticking around forever with the slow update schedule.
