Net Video Girls is up for review today, and the idea here is pretty simple: lure girls in with an innocent ad in the newspaper looking for a calendar model, and then charm the hell out of them in hopes to fuck them on camera. It's about as classic as they come in terms of reality porn site ideas, but at least they've been doing this for a while with archives going back to the year 2000 (insert crazy Conan song here). The setup was much the same even back then, so you're left with a pretty distilled set of videos all featuring the same theme. $30 a month gets you in the door, which is a little high, but not unexpected.
The Pros
Quite a bit to see here.
The video count definitely surprised me in a good way here. They offer over 450 scenes currently, which is awesome. It definitely helps that their collection goes back to 2000 or so, which means they've been shooting and adding content for over 11 years. Granted, if you do a little math, their updates might not come as quick as we'd hope for, but at least the big picture is good.
Other Good Stuff:
The content seems to be all exclusive here from what I can tell. In fact, it seems like the same dude does the videos day in and day out.
The scenes are fun enough here. There's nothing overly unique going on, but the girls are usually cute, and I can appreciate some fun POV action.
The Cons
Very plain site overall.
Everything from the design to the navigation is just very plain here, and it feels like the site hasn't been changed or upgraded in several years. Everything is broken down by year, which isn't too difficult to use, but beyond that, you don't even know which content is the newest within the year. Forget about a search or some category browsing, or even a models index. The design is way too simple as well, and looks like it was done back when WYSIWYG editors were all the rage, and tables full of text were still cool.
Quality isn't good.
Along with the crummy site, the video quality here falls right in line with what you'd expect. They are on the small side, and definitely show some major signs of compression at times. You can get large pixelated blocks during the action. They also feel a few years old to me. Hopefully they can remedy that with newer scenes sometime soon here.
Updates aren't fully dated, may be a little slow.
Though they do break down the content by year, so you can get a general idea of the updates, they don't give you any info beyond that. As I mentioned above, once you choose a year, you don't know which is the newest and oldest content there. Plus, some years are a bit weak, showing a sign of slow updates. Even 2011, if you do the math, hasn't offered weekly updates to this point.
Minor Negatives:
While they have videos, there are no photo galleries here at all, which may disappoint some.
There's no info on the models here at all, which is unfortunate since it seems like this guy has met all of them in person. Most sets don't even have scene descriptions either, though the latest scenes do have a small blurb at least.
Though they advertise these girls as true amateurs, you will definitely see some familiar faces here of girls who have made their way around a porn site or two. It kinda just goes with the territory.
Bottom Line
A nice set of decent scenes, though the site and quality definitely need work.
Net Video Girls started things off pretty nicely over 10 years ago at this point. They have a lot to see, and the scenes are fun enough most of the time. The only real issues that come up are the site design/navigation and the quality, which seem to be stuck in a world we often saw several years ago. The videos don't look great, even the newest material, no matter which version you check out. The site is very plain, with not so much as a models index or anything. The content collection is the best thing they have going, so if you don't mind the lower quality than we're used to, you should have a decent time here.
