Earl Miller is up for review today, and we've seen this site several times over the years. It's one of the older photographer-based sites out there. Earl shoots mostly glamour content, with heavily made up girls, and lots of big-named stars. In addition to the expected solo sets, there are also lesbian and hardcore shoots available in similar styles, which round out the site nicely. Unfortunately, the site hasn't totally kept up with the times over the years from what we've seen, so it'll be interesting to see where they're at today. $30 a month gets you inside, which is about what I'd expect for a site like this.
The Pros
Pretty large site overall.
There's a good amount of content here, especially if you're into the photos. There, he offers over 1,370 galleries currently, which is crazy. The video numbers aren't quite as impressive, but there are 150 of those as well currently. More content is still coming, so hopefully those numbers continue to grow.
Picture quality is great.
The pictures look really nice here. I wish they were larger (see below), but the quality is great anyway. As a photography site, everything is well prepared from the lighting, to the sets, to the outfits, to the girls. They could definitely be bumped up in size and not miss a beat in terms of quality.
Other Good Stuff:
I like the three different streaming options they have here: Flash, WMV, and Quicktime. Even their downloads are decent with WMV, Quicktime, iPod, and even a downloadable Flash file.
Of course, everything is exclusive here. When it all comes from one photographer, you can expect as much.
The categories they've setup are definitely nice to have. You can browse certain types of content a lot quicker. I'd love an even more advanced setup, but it's a great start.
I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of content here. Instead of just solo sets (which is what I was expecting), they offered options up to threesomes.
The Cons
Video quality could be better.
For being a high-quality site here, I'd say the video quality is pretty poor. The videos are just too compressed, and the older ones are too small, to really do them justice. I don't see why they don't offer HD content. But even without going that far, I think they could make the videos look better.
Pictures are too small for the quality.
Earl shoots high-quality content and models here. His pictures can handle being offered in much larger options. The best you can do here (for the most part) is 1280x850, and we see that on reality sites these days. I think he needs to bump up to 2000-3000 pixels at minimum to really show things off here.
Minor Negatives:
As you can see from the numbers, the video counts are pretty dismal in comparison to the photo counts. I don't know if that'll change ever, but I'd love to see it get better.
Even though the categories are nice, a more advanced search feature would definitely help. There aren't quite enough categories to choose from right now, and you can only choose one at a time. Even a model search would be a good addition as well.
Bottom Line
There's lots to see here with some hot babes, but a few upgrades are needed.
Earl Miller continues in the tradition I'd expect of his site. There's lots of hot babes, and lots of content, and some okay options to help you around. Unfortunately, there are also a few areas which are in need of upgrades or changes. For being a high-quality content site, I'd say the quality could be higher. The pictures look great, but why are they stuck at just 1280x850 or so? The videos don't even look that great, and could use an update all around. I'd love more videos to be added to the site in proportion to the photos. Also, some users report rotated content, which is a little tough to tell in a one-off review here. Overall it's a pretty nice site, but has a little ways to go to really compete with some of the even better sites out there.
