Here in North America, most cosplay costumes are for superheroes, sitcom characters, and other fictional works. Cosplayground is no exception, highlighting characters like Spider-Gwen, Princess Leia, and the cast of That '70s Show. Only, these characters are doing much racier things on camera.
The production values are very high, from the props to the costumes. You'll recognize many of the pornstars on Cosplayground, like Rachael Cavalli, Jade Kush, Riley Steele, and Maddy O'Reilly. They're a somewhat diverse bunch, although they skew toward Caucasian. And like most parody porn, you'll see a lot of full-length hardcore scenes. There are also some solo and lesbian movies. There are some recent porn parodies worth mentioning. I saw a Wicked ( the musical movie, not the porn studio) lesbian cosplay movie, where a white girl, Glinda, hooks up with a green-skinned Elphaba, as well as a steamy Kpop Demon Hunters scene whose production values are exceptional.
There are 221 videos to stream in Full HD, and a couple in 4K. You can choose to browse the collection by individual scenes or the full Titles and there didn't appear to be any issue streaming a video. There's also some BTS content to check out as well.
Usability is easy, and it's basic. You can browse by videos, photos, models, and categories. There are sorting options for the scenes and category tags. You can favorite and leave ratings. The streaming player lets you expand the screen, switch to picture-in-picture mode, and move forward or back by 10 seconds.
The model index lets you find out more about the hot girls you see in these videos. Most profiles include basic stats and some fun facts like how they started out and the movies they've appeared in.
Members do not get download privileges on Cosplayground. There's no add-on or premium membership option, so this collection is streaming-only. You also don't get any bonuses with a membership.
There are no dates on the content, so we have no idea how often new scenes are being added. On that note, they do advertise weekly updates on the tour page, but there's no way of confirming this.
Exclusivity isn't as big a deal these days, but it's worth knowing that most of the scenes come from other sites, like New Sensations and Wicked. Many are also old, with their original releases dating back over a decade. In addition, many of the scenes are short and appear to be cut from a larger scene.
Some usability features are missing, like a basic search engine and comments.
Cosplayground gets a few things right, like the talent, video quality, and overall production values. However, it also has many cons, such as a lack of functionality, downloads, and schedule information. Plus, you can find many of these scenes elsewhere, with download access.
