I was impressed as I went through the site with how many of the ads seemed real. That really surprised me, especially considering the genre. I definitely got the impression that these are mostly real people looking to find others to play with in the BDSM lifestyle.
Easy to browse.
The site has a very straightforward interface that makes it easy to get around. There were a few ads, but nothing too obnoxious. The colors and graphics looked good, as well. There are a few helpful search and browse tools for finding specific members. All in all, it's a fairly user-friendly site.
Some of the users have lengthy profiles which really allows you to get a feel for the members they have.
No bonus content.
There was no additional content offered here to members, such as photos or videos. There are no bonus feeds or magazines either. It's a very basic site that is limited to just user profiles.
Very few interactive features.
You do have the option to message or im members, but otherwise there aren't a lot of tools for getting involved in the community. The forum is all but dead. The chat had nothing going on.
Membership is expensive. It'll cost you $30 a month to be a member here. That's definitely on the high side for what you're actually getting.

BDSM Singles was a mixed bag for me, but overall I was pleased with the site. What made the difference for me was just how many members seemed to be pursuing actual bdsm encounters. I felt like this was the real deal. That said, I wasn't terribly impressed with the site itself. While it was easy to navigate, there were no great features to really set it apart from other personal ad sites. Still, I think it's the people here who make BDSM Singles worth a look.
