Intro

Vintage Classic Porn is up for review today, and in case the word vintage or classic didn't conjure up the right image for you, they decided to list both. They offer nude women and porn from 100 years ago through the 70's and 80's as well. Look for black and white images from when porn wasn't so prevalent, and watch couples get even kinkier with hardcore or lesbian action in front of the camera. I always find this stuff fun for some reason, so it was a kick for me. Just $20 a month gets you in the door thanks to a special discount they've setup for our users.

The Pros

Unique vintage content.

For some reason, I like this vintage content. I wouldn't quite call it classic, though they do have some of the famous pornstars from the heyday of porn. What is fun for me is the older stuff, from the 50's say, where sexual promiscuity wasn't as well-received. This are great both for the taboo aspect, plus for just seeing a snapshot in time.

Updates come daily.

They alternate adding a photo set and a video every single day. The content counts are currently pretty even, so I assume they've had this setup going for a while. The daily updates definitely surprised me as it's more new content than I would have expected.

Pretty large site, considering.

With the daily updates, they've amassed a pretty good-sized collection overall. It's especially interesting when you consider the type of content they offer, which is in limited supply. They have over 560 photo galleries, and over 540 videos, which is pretty damn good.

Other Good Stuff:

I like that you can filter by both decade, as well as some category searches. That really helps you narrow things down easily, though it only seems to work for the video section (see below).

The Cons

Quality isn't great.

It's pretty much expected when you're viewing content from several decades ago, but the quality isn't that great here. The videos are very grainy (different than just over-compressed - these are destroyed by the passage of time even), and the photos are quite small. Lighting varies a ton, but you can usually tell what's going on pretty well.

Search is for videos only.

Even if you head to the photo section, and then use their dropdown menu to start a search, it seems to default to the video section for some reason. I didn't see any photo sets mixed in even, which is too bad.

Minor Negatives:

The zip files didn't work for me at all. They would just load a blank page and would never start downloading.
Of course, the content isn't exclusive here, as you can imagine. I'm not sure where they get it, but they're definitely not shooting it themselves.
Video downloads come in a few quality options and length choices, but they're all WMV only. I'd love to see another video type offered for downloads.

Bottom Line

Decent-sized site and frequent updates with some fun older material.

As long as you come in expecting the right things, I think Vintage Classic Porn is doing pretty well. They have a limited field of content to work with, so it's impressive that they have so much to see, plus daily updates going strong. The navigation could be beefed up a bit, and of course the quality varies, and is usually pretty sub-par. However, their numbers really set them apart from the other similar sites, so it's definitely worth a look if you're into this vintage material.
