Intro

Thug Boy is a hardcore gay niche site that focuses in on the black guy sub-category. Furthermore they have the whole gangsta/hood theme going which gives the site a bit of a unique feel that helps separate them from the crowd. The guest tour layout is pretty informative as the episode and model browsing there is identical to the member's area layout. Guests can get a nice feel for what these guys have to offer.

The Pros

Lots of Exclusive Hardcore, Solo Guy, & Group Episodes.

The overarching theme of black guys is in play throughout all of the episodes. Beyond that there is variety with a blend of guy/guy hardcore, solo guys, and groupsex scenes. Generally speaking as I looked through the collection the newer shoots are almost all hardcore and you can find more solo guys back in the earlier episodes. The site does well when it comes to exclusivity and entertainment value.

WMV & QT Full-Shoot Files, Most Shoots Have HD Quality WMV.

First and foremost what stands out is that the majority of the episodes (about 60%) have the high-res format movies which come in around 5000k 1280x720. That's nice quality for exclusive shoots like these and generally paysites only have a fraction of their movies in high-def level. The other options are consistent for all episodes with download and streaming WMV and QT formats in two different quality choices.

Stylish Design/Theme, Browse Chronologically or by Model Name.

The thug angle is played up a bit in the design and works well here. The episodes can be browsed in chronological order or by model name. They also have a 'Top Thugs' page which has the most highly rated shoots.

The Cons

Older Videos Have Lower Quality/Specs, No HD Level.

Somewhere over halfway through the collection there is a drop off in terms of video options. The older shoots don't have the high-res level available but just have the standard WMV and QT options. The specs on the highest resolution are also lower on these than what's available on the non-HD files for newer shoots.

This is one of those situations where it doesn't really make sense that they don't provide update specifics. They have plenty of content, advertise weekly additions, and provide lots of other info like summaries and video specs but for some reason the update details are left off.

Minor Negatives:

There isn't any way to browse by niche (solo, guy/guy, groups, etc.) or model physical characteristics.
Some download manager limitations. My software (IDM) could only use 1-channel with no pause/resume capability.

Bottom Line

Exclusive hardcore & solo black guy episodes with a lot of shoots with HD quality movies.

Thug Boy does well to deliver a nice sized collection of original gay video episodes that have lots of hardcore along with groups and solo guy action too. The large number of shoots with HD level movie files stands out as a real asset that's a definite selling point. Even though the navigation tools could be enhanced with more sorting tools I still like the overall look of the site since it fits well with the content theme. Thug Boy is one of those sites where if you like what's presented on the guest tour then you're likely to also enjoy the episodes themselves.
