Intro

Super Sex Stars features a collection of videos and pictures and it falls into the pornstar, hardcore, and video categories. They also incorporate HD level movies so high-definition also applies here. The guest tour gives you a feel for the types of models and movies with the streaming samples so that's pretty good info. What you can't get a real feel for is the member's area design and layout so a review can be helpful there.

The Pros

Hundreds of Hardcore Videos Featuring Pornstar Models.

The centerpiece of the content here is the collection of videos and in this case that means video scenes, not full movies. Sites count content differently and Super Sex Stars uses individual video scenes. Pro pornstars in all sorts of hardcore action make up the collection including solo masturbation, boy/girl, girl/girl, and grouse. It's a well rounded hardcore collection geared towards a general audience who like recognizable pornstar models.

Decent Sized HD Videos Section, Download & Stream Options.

The member's area has a dedicated High-Def videos section which has about 80 videos. They update this area a couple times per month with one new video. The specs on these are solid at 4000k 1280x720 with WMV downloads or Flash streaming.

Consistent Full-Video WMV/MP4 Downloads for All Movies.

The viewing/downloading options are steady throughout the entire collection whether it in the HD section or the general movies section. They include Flash streaming along with two quality levels of WMV full-scene downloads and MP4 full-scene files. These choices are about what you'd like to see from a video site of this kind.

Other Good Stuff:

Lots of picture gallery content is available along with the videos and zip files are offered on the galleries.
Site gets regular updates and all videos are date-stamped with updates info showing when they were added to the site.

The Cons

Specs/Quality on Standard non-HD Movies are Average.

There is a distinct drop-off in quality between the specs on the high-def movies and the other videos. This is to be expected but the difference is pretty stark with the other movies having being around 1400k 640x480 for the newer updates. Definitely not the sharpest movies and I expected slightly higher quality for these videos which do make up the bulk of the site's movie content.

Download Speed is Pretty Slow.

This is something that I noticed especially in regards to the HD movies since those file sizes are fairly large at around 500-700MB. The download speed on my high speed connection came in around 200-300KB/sec on average. That's definitely slower than it should be for a site with downloadable videos like this. Download managers do work and help out but standard browser downloads do lead to long download times.

Basic Navigation, No Model Index or Niche Categorization.

Navigation here is relegated to separate sections for high-def and standard movies with each having a chronological listing of the videos. A basic keyword search is the only other feature. With a pornstar based collection and varied types of shoots things like a model index and niche categorization would really help but nothing like that is available.

Minor Negatives:

No model, video, or movie source information is provided.
The downloadable WMV movie files do not have any file size information posted.
The update log shows more additions to the picture gallery than the videos.
High monthly price, join page cross sells, and member's area upsells.

Bottom Line

A straightforward collection of pornstar videos & pictures with some HD quality movies.

Super Sex Stars does have a sizable amount of content with lots of hundreds of videos and lots of photo galleries. The high-def videos section is the one content item that really stands out as a positive. The consistent download/stream formatting is also strength. The main negatives have to be the slow download speeds and below average quality of the non-HD movies. Also, a collection like this needs more navigation and sorting tools than they have in place. So overall the content is what I expected but there's room for improvement on some infrastructure items.
