Intro

Simon Scans is a collection of high quality original pictures and videos of beautiful English models and the dildos they love. The tour does an excellent job at summing up the philosophy of the site, and it comes down to high quality content, no filler content, emphasizing interesting solo scenes (boy-girl and girl-girl are easy to keep entertaining, solo girl is much more challenging), real orgasms, a simple user-friendly design, and basically respecting the needs of the members and the models. Simon Scans has been online for nearly a decade and in that time they've figured out how to do porn the right way.

The Pros

All exclusive content.

Everything on Simon Scans was photographed by Simon Scans for Simon Scans. Some of the girls are completely exclusive to Simon Scans, as well, but others you will be able to find on other sites. They go to great lengths to select only the models that will be a right fit for THIS site. The girls have to be willing to have a real orgasm on camera, no fakers here. Many of the models you know from other sites actually had their start here on Simon Scans, so you're really getting an original look at their start in porn.

Large collection!

Simon Scans has been around for 9 years and in that time they've put together a really big site. There are currently 550 models in 400,000 pictures and 210 videos. The video section isn't as big because they're really selective about who they shoot. This is obviously more of a photo site. There's plenty to keep fans of beautiful young models entertained.

High quality content.

High quality content has always been the focus of Simon Scans. They work with top equipment to produce top quality photos and videos. Pictures go up to 1872 x 1250 in size. Videos play at up to 5000k and 1280x720. Only the newer movies are high definition, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of these videos added. All in all, their emphasis on quality has certainly paid off.

Other Good Stuff:

Great advanced search tool. It allows you to select multiple criteria and exclude criteria, as well, to come up with exactly the photo or video you have in mind.
Nice clean design. I liked the colors and the simple style of the site. It's not overflowing with graphics but what they do have look good.
Good viewing options. Each video can be played as a wmv, mov, or mpeg. Galleries can be downloaded in zip files.
Frequent updates. It looks like four new galleries are added each week!
Quick downloads! Everything came in between 2.2 and 3.0 mbps on both browser and download manager.

The Cons

More browse tools needed.

Getting around the site really isn't that difficult, but there are a few tools I'd like to see added. For instance, models and movies are only sorted by name. There's no way to sort by date or user rating or anything else. The galleries can only be browsed in the order they were added. The search tool helps, but the rest of the set-up is a bit basic.

Older scenes not as sharp.

This is pretty standard for a site that has been around as long as Simon Scans. The older scenes just don't look as good. Technology in 2004 was not what it is today. The videos then played at 1000k and were 480x360. Pictures were 1124x748. However, even though those scenes don't look as sharp as Simon's newer ones, they still look a whole lot better that what wee see produced on many sites today! Just keep in mind that not all 400,000 pictures are huge and not all 200 videos are HD, but they still look good.

Minor Negatives:

Simon keeps an interesting blog but doesn't write in it often enough. He did write in it twice this month, but before that it was five months in between updates!

Bottom Line

An entertaining, high quality collection with 10 years experience at keeping members happy.

I was a big fan of Simon Scans at our first visit six years ago and I still am today. It's great to see how much the site has evolved since then! So many "big hits" of years ago have sat on their butts and not kept current, but that's not all all the case here. The content quality is still top-notch, the site is easy to maneuver, and the size of the collection is incredible. Membership is $30 a month which is very reasonable for this site. I have no real issues here. If you enjoy beautiful young women working their bodies with huge dildos, Simon Scans is a must-see.
