Intro

Shemale Mov is a video site dedicated to hot, hardcore transsexuals. They claim to be "The Biggest Collection of Shemale Movies on The Net!" and with 1,000 scenes I'd say they're pretty close! Their scenes come from popular shemale DVDs and despite the name, are actually offered as wmvs not movs (as in Quicktime files). Nope, the "Mov" just means movies, lots and lots of good quality, sexy shemale movies.

The Pros

Large collection!

This is a very good-sized site! They are quickly approaching the 1,000 video mark (probably just passed it by the time this is published) and each scene is around 20 minutes long. The photo section is smaller, but you'll still find a good 10,000 pictures to keep you busy.

Good quality videos and photos.

The videos and photos looked good. The videos are pulled directly from DVDs, so you can generally expect that type of quality. Most play as wmvs at up to 2400k and 640x480 in size. As is always the case with content that comes from multiple sources, quality varies, but overall I thought this was a good-looking video section. I was also impressed with the photo quality. I wasn't expecting much from what is clearly a video site, but there are some nice sharp scenes here. Again, it varies, but I found many that were good quality.

Other Good Stuff:

Updates come often. Every 2-3 days a new video is added to the site and posted right on the member's homepage.
Photos can be downloaded in zip files.
Videos can be downloaded as wmvs in two quality settings. Many scenes also include a streaming Flash option.

The Cons

Non-exclusive content.

All of the content here is non-exclusive. The videos are pulled from various DVDs and the photos come from many different sources. If you've spent much time on other tranny sites, you might recognize a lot of these scenes.

Not enough browse tools.

There aren't enough tools for getting around the site. They offer some basic categories and an alphabetical DVD list, but that's it. There's no model index, no search box, no option to select multiple categories, no highest rated scenes, or anything like that. It is a straightforward design, it's just too basic for the site of the site.

Minor Negatives:

The member's area had banners and links to other paysites and camsites. They make the site feel cluttered and detract from the overall look.
No information is provided for any of the models. There are no biographies; you're lucky to get the chick's name.

Bottom Line

A clean, quality shemale video site definitely worth a look.

All in all, Shemale Mov is a solid join for tranny fans. The sheer size of the site is impressive. The frequent updates and good quality scenes further make it worth the cost of $30 a month. The main thing I'd like to see is a more advanced site. More user tools would help make the site more user-friendly. However, even as is this is one I'd recommend to fans of the genre.
