Intro

Shemale DVD Pass is a movie download site that zeros in on just the shemale fetish category. What they have available are hardcore titles from a mix of studios all with hardcore shemale action. The set-up is pretty standard as far as sites like this go and the layout should be self-explanatory. The gust tour is an open-book so visitors can browse the collection just as members see it. Taking a few minutes to go through things will let you know whether or not they have the titles, studios, or niches that you are looking for.

The Pros

All Shemale Hardcore DVD Collection, Decent Sized Site.

Most DVD download sites out there are general hardcore in nature so Shemale DVD Pass is somewhat distinct because it is 100% focuses on the shemale category. There are over two hundred full movies which translates into over seven hundred individual scenes making it an okay sized site. Content comes from a number of production companies and they have action of all kinds with shemale models of all different ages and ethnicities.

Straightforward WMV Full-Scene Downloads.

The movies formatting is not complex however they do have the basics covered including WMV video full-scene downloads in a few different quality options. In-browser streaming is also WMV. So long as they are going to have just the one format available I'm glad that's the one they've gone with.

Other Good Stuff:

Clear file size information is posted for each movie along with the running time in minutes for the full movie and each scene.
Niche browsing and a keyword search are available for navigation tools.

The Cons

Average Video Quality, Just WMV for Download & Streaming.

Video quality is nothing to write home about with specs topping out at around 720x480 1400k. Generally a DVD site should have a higher quality option that that and additional format choices wouldn%u2019t hurt. The in-browser streaming being WMV is a bit outdated since so many sites go with Flash which is more dynamic and offers quicker loading/buffering.

Stagnant Collection, Doesn't Seem to Be Updating Any Longer.

Aside from the fact that our TBP content site fact managers have noted that the site isn't updating there are also tell tale signs now right on the site itself. The dates are no longer up to the present and they 'upcoming' list has default dates like 12/31/69 for the next planned addition. All these signs tell us the operators have moved on as are likely to just leave this site as-is from here on out.

Expensive Monthly Price, Partial Access Trial, & Cross Sells.

There are a number of price items that will catch surfer%u2019s attention. The monthly price is really high and the trial is limited access to for full access you do have to pay the full monthly rate. There are also join page cross-sells so they are throwing all sorts of upsells at members right away along with the high standard price.

Minor Negatives:

My download manager (software: IDM) was restricted to 1-channel with no pause/resume.
The member's area design is pretty basic as there is no model index and the studio browsing seems incomplete. Also, members still are presented with flashing 'join' links while logged in to the member's area.
The content is non-exclusive DVD material. They don't provide much in the way of movie details as they leave off performer names, year produced, and only have basic descriptions.

The other

This company has a network of 'DVD' sites called Ultra DVD Pass. Joining there gives access to this Shemale DVD Pass site along with access to about a dozen other sites. It doesn't appear that joining Shemale DVD Pass directly includes the full network access.

Bottom Line

A straightforward DVD download site of all shemale hardcore with average quality WMV movies.

The shemale theme is really the most notable characteristic of Shemale DVD Pass. Other than that it's a simple DVD download site without any feature that stands out. With just the single movie format it's good that they went with WMV however the quality could certainly stand to be improved. The fact that updates have stopped and the monthly price is so high do impact the value as well.
