Rear Frontier

Intro

Rear Frontier is a clever name for a site offering a large variety of ass shots, from street butts, beach bums, tight jeans, club chicks, candids and more. This is more of a photo site than a video site, but there are at least 20 scenes to check out in addition to the close to 200 image galleries. A membership here will set you back about $25 bucks per month which also gives access to a couple of bonus sites from the NN All Access Network.

The Pros

Variety of Ass Content.

No, this isn't bare ass content. It's random pics and short videos of girls behinds. Girls lying at the beach, walking down the streets, dancing at clubs, car shows and other random public places. It's a nice variety of everything butt!

Images Can Look Good.

Though it ranges, most pics look good in terms of quality. Sizing of them is all over the place, but when they're large, they can be nice and large, up to 1600p. Overall image color and quality is pretty good too.

Other Good Stuff:

Bonus site access gives users another handful of sites to check out with their membership here. These sites include: Yummi Lee and Naughty Paige.
ZIP files are offered for the image sets.

The Cons

Overall Quality Varies & is Average to Below.

At best videos offer 1500k bitrates, but often times they're something closer to 500k-800k. Clearly there is plenty of room for improvement. Understandable that these are supposed to be voyeuristic style videos, but there's clear room for improvement that wouldn't in the least jeopardize the authenticity of the content.

No Updates For Some Time.

There is no clear update schedule in the member's area, and the content itself doesn't have them tagged either. The home page does show dates on latest updates within each categorical set, and based on those it seems as though nothing new has been added here since Oct 2010 (at the time of this review). And even then it's spotty. Some sections haven't seen updates since July, March and April.

Site Design Needs Work.

There are basic categories for organization of the photo content, but other than that there are no search or browse tools. And there is no way to browse all of the image content together in chronological order. Video streams are WMV, while I'd prefer Flash. Videos only offer 1 quality/file type of download option.

Minor Negatives:

Price is high for what is offered. Just 20 videos and a couple hundred small image galleries with no updates for months at a time. Its hard to imagine paying almost $25 bucks per month for a site with all these drawbacks.

Bottom Line

A small butt niche site lacking updates, quality and anything memorable.

Rear Frontier failed to deliver on too many levels to be worth the price of membership. The quality is all over the place, but particularly disappointing when it comes to the video content. Updates haven't been added for some time now, overall site design, browse & download options need work, and there just isn't enough here to make the site/content memorable. This isn't an anal site. In fact, most of the butts are covered. Which can make for some interesting niche content but, overall, there are just too many improvements needed before a join could even be suggested.
