Intro

Pornstar Key is a network of sites that focuses on individual pornstars like Anetta Keys, Bree Olson, Raylene Richards, Silvia Saint, and others. All told there is just short of two dozen total sites including the solo porstars along with a couple more general themed sites. These are Stockings On Pornstars and Pornstar Angels so they fit with the overall concept. The guest tour splash pages highlight all the included models so you can get the full info there. What they don't show to guests is what the look and feel of the member's area is like so a review can be helpful in that regard.

The Pros

Pornstar Niche Network of Sites w/ Solo, Lesbian, & Hardcore.

Pornstar Key consists mostly of solo pornstar sites each of which has photo/video content. There are also the two general themed sites that also have various models and the Pornstars in Stockings has a wide mix of nylon, stocking, and lingerie type material. The shoots include solo stripping/posing/masturbation, boy/girl hardcore, and girl/girl hardcore. These aren't official sites so personal info is relegated to bio pages for the girls with varying amounts of information.

WMV Movie Downloads, Zip Files for Picture Galleries.

The content formatting is consistent across the different sites and throughout the collection. The movies are in WMV format which can be downloaded (clicking on them does also open them in a standalone media player). The pictures galleries can be viewed online plus zip file downloads are available.

Useful Network Hub & Consistent Site Layouts.

The navigation here revolves around a network hub which has a list of recent updates for all the sites plus links to each of the included sites along the left margin of the page. Jumping from site-to-site is easy and in fact this list of sites is posted in each member's area. The individual star sites have similar layouts and have categorized picture and video sections.

Other Good Stuff:

Many pictures are large/sharp and some newer videos are high quality.
Galleries/videos are date-stamped with update information showing when they were added to the site.
Clear file size information is posted for each movie.

The Cons

More Pictures than Videos, Some Models w/ Few or No Videos.

The ratio of picture galleries to videos surprised me and not in a good way. Going from site to site I found that pictures dominate the collection which is unexpected for a pornstar niche network. I mean these girls are pornstars whose main job is to do porn video shoots. In fact some of the individual girl sites have only a handful of videos and a few have none at all which is quite shocking (however they do have links to the DVD and PPV offers).

Updates Vary from Site to Site, Some with Lengthy Gaps.

The network hub highlights the recent updates and any announcements like new sites or upgrades to design, etc. In a macro sense the network updates regularly with a handful of additions each week. However a closer inspection of the individual sites shows some get fairly regular updates while others have had little or no attention for long periods of time.

Content Quality Varies, Some Videos Broken into Segments.

The newer videos have higher specs than the older movies so there is some variation there. Picture quality/size is also different depending on the gallery. It appears this content is a mix of exclusive and non-exclusive material so it comes from different sources. Some videos are in one file but others have multiple clip segments without a full-movie option available.

Minor Negatives:

Few details provided about the shoots, especially the videos.
Appears to be non-exclusive content with some exclusive material.
There are some upsells in the member's area.

Bottom Line

A network of individual pornstar sites that heavier on pictures than videos.

Pornstar Key is defined by the fact that it's a network that revolves around individual performer sites. The other more general sites fit in as well but they are definitely in the minority. The navigation and set-up work fine for me and the WMV vids and photo galleries with zips are just fine. The main negative that really stands out is the lack of overall focus on video content. That not at all what I expected and it really is an issue that a few model sites have no video online at all. This does hurt the network's value and it'll be interesting to see if they bulk up the amount of movie content in the future.
