Pin-Up WOW is up for review today, and this has always been an interesting site for me. They've been around a few years now, and this isn't the first time I've seen the site (though it's been a while). I didn't realize it right away, but they have just six models that keep the site very active with daily updates, and of course the theme is pinup girls here, which gives some unique content. Everything from the makeup to the outfits to the poses all keep with the theme. There are mostly solo sets, and lots of teasing is seen here. It's a nice twist on some softcore content, and the girls look great. $25 a month gets you in the door, which is about what I'd expect.
The Pros
Unique, exclusive content.
As mentioned before, the content really is the main focus of the site here, and the reason to join. The girls get all dolled up and play the part great. There's lots of general posing, much as a pinup girl would have done years ago. From there, you get some nudity, but it's not the main focus of the site. Only in the bonus sections will you see any type of playing, but it doesn't matter as the girls look good, and look interesting.
Updates come daily.
Save for yesterday (hopefully it's a small glitch), they update every single day with something new. Updates are split pretty evenly between photos and videos, though I didn't see any particular pattern as to when each are updated.
Pictures look very nice.
Do yourself a favor and download the zip files, as the pictures are much larger and look great there. They're large, obviously well-lit, and look pretty clean overall. I think it helps that the environment is so controlled for them, but whatever the reason, the pictures look quite nice here.
Other Good Stuff:
The newer high-definition videos here look pretty damn nice overall, and I only wish there were more of them.
Although it doesn't feel huge, there's actually a decent amount of content here all considered. They offer over 75,000 photos, and over 375 videos currently.
The Cons
Not all current videos come in HD.
I understand the older videos not offering HD, but even some of the recent videos added in the last month don't offer it. I'd say jump in full steam ahead here, as they offer a definite upgrade to the video experience.
Largest pictures only available in zips.
There's no option (that I saw) online to view the larger photos right in your browser. You're stuck downloading rather large zip files, but even then, it's worth the effort as the pictures look much better.
More video options would help.
Videos only seem to come in two different WMV options, and I think more choices would do better here. First, add a streaming option, as those are definitely gaining in popularity these days. Second, add another video type of two to spread things out a bit.
Minor Negatives:
While the girls are available for live shows, it's on their sister site, and only available for an extra charge.
The forum here is nice to have, but it's not very active unfortunately with only a handful of posts each month.
Bottom Line
A simple, but very effective site with some beautiful ladies.
Pin-Up WOW kinda sneaks under the radar at first. The design is pretty basic, and the site just doesn't feel that overwhelming once inside. However, once you add up all the daily updates and all they have to offer, there's quite a bit of content here. These six pinup beauties offer unique content, and keep themselves busy with all the updates they come out with. I guess the one thing really missing here is options or features, as things like the videos only come in one format, and there's no search or category browsing or anything. Otherwise, if you don't mind being teased, they have some fun solo content in unique settings that's different from the norm. If they can really start pumping out those HD videos, I think they'll be doing great here overall.
