Next Door World is up for review today, and this is the new network hub of all the Next Door sites we've been reviewing over the years: Cody Cummings, Next Door Buddies, Next Door Male, Austin Wilde, and quite a few more. They have a solid collection of solo male sites, as well as a nice group of more gay mega-sites that can feature anything from solo play to full on gay threesome action. There's a mix of everything here. Even better is that they've cut their price in half for our users, so you can get in for just $15 a month, which is quite a steal for all you get access to here.
The Pros
Lots to see here!
Man, they've been shooting material a long time, for a lot of sites they own, and there's just a lot to see these days. Expect 1,800 photo galleries and 2,000 video scenes to be found here, which is no slouch at all considering they shot it all themselves. Those numbers just keep going up, as well.
Updates come daily.
The reason for their big numbers, as mentioned above, is that they add a new scene every single day here. Most scenes contain a video and photo set together usually, and they spread them across their sites relatively equally (the ones still active at least).
Quality is pretty good lately.
Looking just at the material they're putting out these days, everything looks pretty damn good. Pictures are tough to get any specs on, but they look nice to me. Videos all come in 1080p high definition format and look great as well.
Other Good Stuff:
$15 a month is a very decent price to get access to all you get here. It's a special price for our users, which is a great way to start off your membership here.
Their content is 100% original here. You can't call it exclusive, since they also put it out on DVDs and all, but they've shot it all themselves at least.
They offer a few little extras to check out here like daily cam shows from various men, and some blogs from some of the guys that have their own solo sites.
The Cons
Navigation could be better.
The whole site setup here is just not up to par unfortunately. You can browse the network as a whole, or individual sites, but that's about it (unless you want to go through the models index). They have a basic list of categories, but you can only choose one at a time, and it's only for the whole network. I'd love to see them make this a bit more advanced with multiple category and/or site selection, etc.
Older quality isn't as good.
This one is pretty much a given when you have a company that's been shooting content this long, but it needs mentioning either way. The older half of the content doesn't look nearly as good as the newer stuff. You get into more amateur content, poor lighting, and just lower quality all around.
Minor Negatives:
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, so you're stuck viewing pictures one at a time.
In addition to that, the script they use to display images makes downloading even single pictures more difficult than necessary. It's possible, but not right out of the box.
The model bios are pretty weak here. They do offer scene descriptions at least, but nothing on the models themselves, which would help out the personality quotient a bit I'd say.
The design feels pretty dated and doesn't give off the best image for them.
Bottom Line
The site itself is so-so, but they have a large collection of original gay content that should please.
Next Door World won't win any awards on site design, navigation, or features. However, they focus on content, and in that regard, they should do relatively well here. They have over 2,000 original scenes (though they do put them out on DVD as well) featuring anything from solo to group gay action. The latest sets all come in high definition and look pretty damn nice. Updates come daily, and they have a few extras like blogs from the solo sites, and daily cam shows. If they could re-do the site a bit and offer better navigation and features, I think they'd have a home run here. As it stands, you get a lot for your money, and I think it's an easy site to want to join and see all they have to offer.
