Intro

Movie Room is the home of thousands of movie scenes (6,240 DVD's) and new additions are promised daily. The design and layout is simple, offering a few very nice search/browse features, and video streams as high as 2000k. The price of admission is somewhat high ($29.95) compared to other video sites we've seen, but not so high compared to what most paysites are charging these days. Let's check it out.

The Pros

Great Navigational Tools.

There are multiple ways to browse the thousands of DVD's here at Movie Room. Users can browse through the scenes that together make up the full-length DVD's, or they can browse through the DVD titles themselves. Additionally, there is some very nice search and browse features including: categories, ratings, model profiles/pornstar explorer, an attribute selector, studio links, multiple filters, and more. For such a simple looking set-up and design, Movie Room sure does cover the entire basis when it comes to navigation. Check out the user preferences section that gives even more ways to sort through this massive archive of content.

Large Archive of DVD Studio Content.

With more than 6,250 full DVD titles on list clearly this is one massive archive of studio content. Users will find niche and fetish content from amateurs to BDSM, BBW, squirting, teen, voyeur and everything in between. Not to mention a new full DVD is added daily.

Other Good Stuff:

Latest scenes are offered in WMV format in 2 quality options. Good looking, quickly loading/buffering Flash streams are also available. I didn't see a mobile format option, but I know they used to have one available?

The Cons

Non-Exclusive Content.

As is the case with all DVD sites the content here is not exclusive and can be found elsewhere online and/or by simply purchasing the DVD. There may, however, be some lesser known studios featured here at Movie Room.

Quality Could be Better.

Newest videos are looking strong, but that's partly due to better production from the studios themselves. Overall video quality is just slightly better than average at this point, and sometimes not even then. I'd love to see things stepped up a notch with 3000k bitrate speeds and higher quality specs for the scenes.

Minor Negatives:

Although this is still a nice-sized archive of video content, Movie Room is not quite the large size as some of the other video sites out there, and the price is on the high end, comparatively.
There used to be formats listed for your mobile device, but I didn't see any during this visit. Did they get rid of them?

Bottom Line

Clean site design and thousands of titles make this DVD site stand out.

At first glance Movie Room just looks like another video site, but once you get started looking around you'll notice there are some very pleasant differences. Most notable is the navigation, which offers users so many options and ways to get around, you'll never be at a loss for the specific content you crave. Overall it's going to be the price of admission and somewhat (smaller than the norm) archive size that holds this site back, but Movie Room is certainly not one to be overlooked by those on the market for full-length DVD scene downloads.
