Intro

Miss Luana Lani is a sexy Filipina babe who you may have seen in magazines like Playboy Special Editions and Stuff. She's tiny at 5'1 and 105lbs and is quite beautiful, with a certain Polynesian look to her that I picked up from her numerous tropical lei-wearing photo sets. This is her official site, where she shares her galleries and videos and interacts with fans through her diary and, in the past, herwebcam. A cross between an amateur and pro site, Luana appears to offer the best of both worlds, personality and high quality content.

The Pros

Good-sized collection!

Luana currently offers 381 galleries and 228 videos. That's impressive for a solo model site like this! The content is a mix of non-nude and nude, and she also includes a small section of galleries of her girlfriends. I was impressed with the size of the video collection. There's really a lot to see here.

High quality content.

Luana's photosets are original, good quality, nicely put together, and always entertaining. To begin with, most of her sets are exclusive to her site. Some where shot by photographers of other sites but I think the majority cannot be found elsewhere. She works with professional photographers, so her sets are always good quality. The images are good sized, sharp, and colorful. She explores some really sexy themes, everything from a sword-wielding Kill Bill-style Asian babe to sexy hula girl to naughty golfer. No matter what the theme, she really follows through with an awesome costume, great location, and appropriate props. She (and her people) know how to put together a complete scene.

Other Good Stuff:

Photos can be downloaded in zip files.
Luana interacts with fans in her diary and on her forum. Both are moderately active and give members a chance to chat with and get to know Luana better.
The design of the site is cute and clean. Everything is well-organized and labeled so getting around is easy enough.
Updates come often. In the month of December, she added 3 of her own photosets, 2 of her own videos, and 1 gallery of her girlfriend. Luana keeps things busy on her site!

The Cons

No recent webcam shows.

Luana hasn't performed a webcam show since August of 09. Before that, her last show was in May. Clearly the camshows are spotty. There might be another one sometime but there's no telling when.

No video viewing options.

The vast majority of the videos are wmvs, and there are a handful of movs. None of the scenes have an option of more than one format or quality setting. It's a really basic viewing set-up.

Minor Negatives:

Downloads came really slowly. Even with a download manager the speed wasn't anywhere close to what it should have been. Thankfully the video files are small, otherwise it would take forever to download the scenes.
The older scenes are smaller and not as sharp. Luana has content dating back to 2004, and the videos back then play at just 350k and the photos are only 750x500 in size. The site has come a long way since then, just keep in mind that it's not all up to today's specs.

Bottom Line

Luana is a hottie with a great site!

If you're looking for a beautiful softcore model with high quality content and great personality, look no further than Luana Lani. You should be prepared for how very softcore her content is, and once you are, you're sure to like what you see. The price is fair at $25 a month for such frequent updates of original content.
