Intro

Ladyboy Gold is a shemale site specializing in Asian content. That focus does help to set them apart from other general tranny sites plus the content is exclusive. The guest tour has a nice overview of the site with sections dedicated to the models, video updates, and photo updates. Visitors can get some good insight into the style of content and models from what's shown there.

The Pros

Exclusive Asian Shemale Solo & Hardcore Content.

Ladyboy Gold has been online for a few years now and they've built up a decent sized collection considering this is all original material. Clearly the Asian theme is a big part of things and all their models fit that mold. Things are well balanced in a couple of ways. First they have a fairly balanced amount of photo galleries and videos and second there is a mix of solo and hardcore action. Everything from solo stripping/posing, masturbation/toys, and hardcore banging are well represented.

Full-Movie WMV Files, High-Res Level for Many Videos.

The guest tour makes a big deal out of the new HD movies so that's something important for me to check in on. Indeed the newer additions have high-resolution 3000k 1280x720 files. These are available on about 40% of the movies and there are medium and lower quality options too. WMV streaming is also available for each shoot the same quality level options as the downloads. Each movie across the entire collection does have full-movie files.

Nice Quality Pics w/ Zips, Consistent Quality Levels.

There are actually slightly more photo galleries in the collection than there are videos so the pictures are a big part of things. The pictures have nice high-res images and zip file downloads. As is to be expected the pictures tend to focus more on stripping/masturbation whereas the videos have more of the full-on hardcore shoots.

Sharp Site Design, Alphabetical Model Index.

The overall appearance of the site is professional looking and suits the content well. A navigation header links to the separate photo gallery and video sections along with other sections. An alphabetical model index has a list of the performers which links through to each one's appearances. Model stats are also provided.

Other Good Stuff:

Written descriptions are posted for each shoot along with number of images or video running time.

The Cons

Older Videos are Noticeably Lower Quality WMV.

There is a distinct difference between the newer HD videos and the quality of the older ones. The difference is almost night and day with the specs on the older ones being around 1000k 640x480 with noticeable grain in the picture. They have obviously addressed this issue by upgrading to high-res options however surfers should know that the specs vary depending on the age of the shoot.

Member's Area Has Little Update Info & No Content Dates.

For some reason Ladyboy gold has put the majority of their update specifics on the guest tour side of things. The member's home page shows the most recent additions but they don't show specific dates there. The same goes for the photo gallery and video sections where the individual items don't have date-added details.

Fairly Small Number of Total Models.

There are less than twenty total models which is unusual for a site with hundreds of picture/video shoots. This obviously chips away at the variety the content can feature and did surprise me enough that I felt surfers might want to know this about the collection.

Minor Negatives:

No navigation tools to locate specific types of shoots like hardcore, solo, toys, etc.
There are some upsells in the member's area for other paysites, webcams, and dating.
Must click on pictures a couple times to bring up full sized image.
There appear to be some download manager restrictions like no pause/resume capability.

Bottom Line

Exclusive Asian shemale pics/vids with a mix of solo & hardcore shoots.

As it stands Ladyboy Gold is a solid site for surfers infested in Asian shemales. For the most part content quality is a plus with the higher res newer movies and consistently sharp pictures. I suppose the most surprising aspect of the collection is the small number of total models for a site of this size. All told the positives solidly outweigh the negatives and this is a quality tranny site.
