Intro

He's So Big is a hardcore gay video site that's part of the Male Unit network (aka Gay Star Network). What you'll find here are hundreds of downloadable hardcore video scenes with pro models in guy/guy and groupsex scenes. Based on the title the other operative niche in play is big dicks. Really though this is a general hardcore collection. This company actually produces their own DVD content so it is original in that way rather than a mixed bag from various studios.

The Pros

Several Hundred Hardcore & Groupsex Gay Videos.

The centerpiece of the content is the downloadable video episodes which feature guy/guy hardcore oral and anal action. You can also find groupsex and interracial so it's a well rounded bunch of movies. The total number f video shoots is over 300 hundred which is quite solid for a network site like this.

Full-Video WMV/QT Downloads & Flash Streaming.

The choices are the same for the majority of episodes and they're decent choices too. They include full-video WMV files and QT. Both standard browser downloads and download mangers can be used (test software: IDM). In-browser Flash streaming is available with a large sized player that buffers quickly and allows for immediate jumping ahead.

Other Good Stuff:

Network access to Male Unit which includes lots of additional gay sites/videos.
This is a Montreal based company so many models are French-Canadian which some surfers may enjoy.

The Cons

Video Quality/Specs & Download Speeds are Average.

The actual specs and quality for the movies are only okay for a paysite like this which is a network that has lots of DVDs. The WMV files come in at 2000k 720x480 and there is only one quality level option for each format. The Flash streaming is only satisfactory as well. There's definitely room for better quality movies here.

Inconsistent Updates that Can Have Periods of Long Gaps.

The updates here are schizophrenic with periods of consistent updates and noticeable growth along with other substantial gaps with no activity. Between mid-2008 and late 2009 there were no updates but then things started up and the site grew a lot. Now in the spring of 2010 things have gone cold again so hit-and-miss is a good way to describe the updates here.

Minor Negatives:

Member rating/comments system seems to have many low rated videos and the site has a fairly low rating too in the network list.
The niche tag breakdown is for network wide browsing. There aren't any filters just for He's So Big's videos.
The join page has pre-checked cross-sells.

The other

Many navigation tools are network oriented and accessing the other sites is possible from the network header without login re-entry.

Bottom Line

Several hundred hardcore gay video scenes plus network access to other gay sites.

He's So Big is best viewed as one part of the larger network of which it's a part. With a few hundred vids there is enough content here so that it does okay by itself however the design and content set-up are network oriented so that's how to look at it. The sporadic updates stood out and they were on a roll in the months prior to this review however no recent additions have been made so there's no telling how long that will last.
