Intro

Hairy Boyz features handsome gay bears. Muscle men with hairy chests (although neatly trimmed oddly enough), and an appetite for hardcore gay sex. The current archive of content offers around 175 models in 253 videos and 300 image galleries, stories and more. Many of the models here I recognize from other sites and although weekly updates are advertised in the tour, nothing is dated inside the member's area. There are live cam shows which helps, and a membership will set you back close to $30 bucks per month.

The Pros

Hardcore & Solo Content of Gay Amateurs & Pornstars.

I don't know if any of the content here is exclusive but there are more than 165 semi-hairy to hair muscle men masturbating and having sex. The content includes both pictures and videos separate, with videos running around 15-20 minutes in length.

Live Cam Shows Offered.

Member's here gain access to the Men Live section of the site that offers archived and live cam shows featuring models from the site. Live cam shows appear to take place on Sundays and Wednesdays and go up to at least an hour or more in length.

WMV/Flash Streams Available.

All videos can be viewed online in Flash or WMV format. 5 different quality options are also offered with bitrates up to 800k.

The Cons

Videos Are DRM Protected.

Probably the most annoying aspect of Hairy Boyz is the DRM protection on the videos. A user name and password is needed before you can play a video and the license will expire the minute you cancel your membership. Nothing is yours here to keep and no zip file downloads are available for the image sets.

Image Size is Small.

Image sizing has been stuck at roughly 720x480 pixels since the beginning. At this point high-res images should be up over 1500p.

Video Quality Is Inconsistent & Could Be Better.

Even some of the most recent videos only offer bitrates up to 700k. Compression artifacts are noticeable and they definitely do not look good stretched any larger than the actual picture size.

Minor Negatives:

Member's area pages look cluttered, especially the main member's page which has so much going on that I couldn't even stand to look at it.
No date stamps on content or clear update schedule inside the member's area.

Bottom Line

Somewhat hairy men in hardcore porno with access to live cams.

Maybe I've seen a few too many of these AEBN sites lately, but I (again) didn't enjoy Hairy Boyz as much as the other sites I've reviewed. It's hard to say how much, if any of the content is exclusive, but at least the content information they give does make the content seem unique. There is a clear focus on trimmed, but hairy men. Most are well-built, sexy model types. The content ranges from solo masturbation to sex with other men. Room for improvement in terms of quality is one major issue for Hairy Boyz, but an even bigger issue is the DRM protection on the videos. For $29.95 per month you'd like to think you can walk away with some of the content, but the live cam shows are an added bonus.
