With an intriguing name like God's Girls, you know this won't be your typical porn site. God's Girls is an alternative site with a goth spin. The models are beautiful, but you're more likely to find body ink than silicone around here. In addition to photos and videos, there's an active community, making for an all-around interesting website.
The Pros
All exclusive, original content.
All of the content here is exclusive. Their resident photographers shoot these models exclusively for Gods Girls, and you won't find this work anywhere else. It's original not only in terms of exclusivity, however, but also in terms of content. With models often wearing multiple tattoos, piercings, and heavy, dark eyeliner, these aren't your typical porn models or galleries.
Large photo collection.
There are currently 3,612 galleries on the site for a very impressive 325,000 photos. There are 568 models in the collection. The galleries date back to 2006, and thanks to a steady schedule of frequent updates, they've managed to put together a really impressive-sized website!
Good-quality material.
Most of the content here looks great. Galleries are offered in three image sizes with the largest being 1200x800. The photographers are professional and have experience working with some of the largest fetish websites and magazines out there. They know what they're doing when they play with light and shadows for effect. The site even features the talent of professional make up artists. It's not often that you come across alt content that looks this good.
Lots of extras.
The active and interesting community is certainly one of the site's biggest strengths. Members and models participate in the forum and live chat, discussing everything from photography to purgatory (that is, God's Girls Wannabes). There are articles, interviews, and podcasts, as well. Members can even make profiles of their own complete with photos and blog links. The deeper you dig in God's Girls, the more you find.
Other Good Stuff:
Good price. Membership is $20 a month, which is very fair for all the original material here.
Large daily updates. It looks like they average two new galleries every single day. When you also factor in all of the interactive features, there's always something going on on God's Girls.
Photos can be viewed in three image sizes and all three sizes are offered in zip files.
Good video viewing options. The clip streams in your browser using Flash right away. You can also download the clips in Quicktime, Windows Media in two quality settings, and to your iPod.
The Cons
Small video section.
There are currently only 168 video clips on the site. That's not bad, but compared to the photo section, with more than 3,600 galleries, it really is disproportionately small. There are no update dates provided for the videos so it's hard to say how often this section of the site is updated. All in all, this is definitely more of a photography site.
Poor quality video.
I was disappointed with the video quality. Although there are a couple quality options, they tend to max out at just 300k! At 320x240 in size, you really can't enlarge them at all before they get super grainy. You'll find a few wmvs that play at 1300k, but most don't. It's a very grainy and pixilated video collection.
Minor Negatives:
More browse tools needed. It would be nice to see some categories beyond DIY, hardcore, and multiple girl. The models and scenes here are so diverse and the site is so big, more tools would help a lot.
Not enough scene info. It really surprised me to find no descriptions for any of the scenes. This is a site with so much personality otherwise, but it's really lacking here.
Bottom Line
A sexy, entertaining site that is refreshingly different.
God's Girls is a great site for anyone looking for something a little bit different. The unique, high quality photos and active community definitely had me entertained. I was a little disappointed by the video section, but as long as you keep in mind that this isn't really a video site you should be ok. I loved the models, the interactivity, and the personality of this sexy site and definitely would recommend it to fans of alt models and wild amateur erotica in general.
