However, with their good-sized archive of quality flicks, you might end up watching a whole lot.
Huge collection.
They've got a huge archive of DVDs, with several thousand scenes online. When you consider that all of these movies fall within a single niche (gay), it's even more impressive. They've got plenty of studios to choose from, like Dark Alley, Manhattan Latin, Male Spectrum, etc. You can explore everything from wet and messy to bareback to deep-throat on Gay Yappo.
Good-quality scenes.
Most of the movies are offered in five quality settings, going up to 2000k and up to 800x600 in size. They vary somewhat, but overall this is a good-quality DVD collection.
Easy to navigate.
Getting around this large collection is no problem. They've got a very clean and professional design with a smart layout. Tools like their Advanced Search also really help. Search by niche, studio, length, or star. You can also do a keyword search through titles, directors, and descriptions. All DVDs have the necessary info and it's all cross-linked, so if you like Cameron Fox in Handsome Devils, it's easy to jump to the other movies he appears in.
Good viewing options. Each scene can be played in short clips or in its entirety in five quality settings. Members have a choice of streaming in Flash, Windows Media, and Silverlight.
Daily updates. A new DVD is added to the site daily. Sometimes you'll find multiple new DVDs in a single day.
The benefit of a pay-per-view site is that you only pay for what you want to see. If you've got a specific fetish or actor you're looking for, you could end up paying less because you want less content. You can also do a 7 day rental for $8 or a 30 day rental for $15. When you consider that there are plenty of other sites out there offering hundreds of the same or similar movies with unlimited downloads for $20 a month, this isn't such a good value.
Can't "keep" the videos.
All of the videos here stream in your browser. Though they do mention a downloadable rental option, at best you get the movie on your computer for 30 days. After that, your access is off. This isn't a site to come to with your download manager to build your own personal library o'porn.
Not true high definition. Though the scenes are labeled "HD", they don't quite meet HD standards. These scenes are just 800x600 in size at most, quite a bit smaller than the 1280x720 of HD.
Some movies cost extra. Watch out for movies labeled "Premium", these consume minutes at 3 times the normal rate.
Where IS the download rental option? I searched and searched through the site and couldn't find a link to actual download/rent a movie. I'd love to be pointed in the right direction.

If you're looking for a large gay DVD archive and have some cash to burn, Gay Yappo definitely deserves a look. The site is user-friendly, the videos look good, and there's always something new to see. The problem comes if you want to keep the movies or if you want to watch very many of them. However, if you don't mind the pay-per-view setup, Gay Yappo is a very good site.
