Intro

Gay Room is a network of hardcore gay sites with a variety of different niche themes including Out Him, Office Cock, Bath House Bait, and others. The network's tagline is "The World's Best Gay Porn Site" which is a lofty statement. Not sure if it reaches that level however it's a quality network with exclusive content, high quality video downloads, and all around solid content and navigation features. The guest tour samples make for a nice preview of what is to be found in the member's area.

The Pros

Hardcore Gay Network, Entertaining Exclusive Content.

All around Gay Room is an impressive network with exclusive content that revolves around hardcore video episodes. All kinds of guy/guy BJs, banging is featured along with some solo scenes. Some prominent niches in play include big dick, interracial, cumshots, and more. They have models of all different ethnicities with a range covering very amateur looking guys along with more pro types. Body types are a mix of muscular, fit, trim, and average.

Solid Video Options, High Quality WMV & Flash Streaming.

Since Gay Room is relatively new they have content options that are consistent across the board. The best feature are the WMV full-episode downloads with specs that are right at the borderline of HD, 1250x702 2600k. The in-browser Flash is also high quality and then lower quality MPG and MP4 are secondary options for downloading. Download speeds were quite good for me as I was getting around 1.5-2.0MB/sec through my browser.

This is one of those modern networks where the design is fully integrated so that it functions as one large paysite or users can browse each site individually. Macro tools include a model index and niche breakdown plus a keyword search. The hub page has a log of recent additions to all the different sites.

Other Good Stuff:

On the whole the network updates regularly with multiple weekly additions. All episodes are date-stamped.
Photo galleries are included as secondary content for many episodes. There are nice quality images 1500x1000 viewable online or in zips.
These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.

The Cons

HD Video Quality Specs are Borderline, Could Be Higher.

For the high-def level they offer the one WMV format which has specs at 1250x702 2600k which is right on the cusp of what we consider high-def. The tour implies both 1080p and 720p quality but there only seems to be that one option. So basically while the video quality and options are impressive they didn't quite match up to what I expected based on the info on the tour.

Update are Lagging on a Couple of the Sites.

While the update move along nicely for the network as a whole there are two or three sites in the collection that have become stagnant already. With the episodes date-stamped it's easy to see what's been added when and they do seem to be letting a couple of the sites fall behind while most are actively getting new content.

Minor Negatives:

No video file size or spec info is posted for the downloadable movie files.
There are some members's area ads/upsells, the trial membership is limited access, and there are some join page cross-sells.

The other
