Intro

Gay Porn Access is an AVS site offering access to over 292 sites with just one membership. It's brought to you by same folks as Porn Access, just here you'll find all their gay sites. Unlike AVS's in days of yore, Gay Porn Access is one of the new breed dedicated entirely to DVD content. You'll find a few photos here and there but essentially what you're getting here is access to over a thousand scenes scattered amongst hundreds of niched sites.

The Pros

Great-sized collection.

They've got a really large collection of DVDs offered on more than 292 sites. Currently you'll find 2,031 scenes in 400 DVDs online. That works out to over 600 viewing hours of porn! Having such a large collection allows them to explore all kinds of niches, like frat boys, gloryholes, and barebacking, although you'll find the most content in their amateur, hardcore, and twinks categories, with mature, black, and fetish right behind.

Some good viewing options.

At first, it appeared that they offer a Flash stream and a Windows Media download with two quality settings. That's a fine but rather basic set-up. Then I clicked the little link next to it that says "Convert Video". That allows you to convert the scene to other formats, like mov, mp4, iPod, flv, divx, vob, and 3gp. That's a whole lot more options than I expected to find!

Navigation is easy enough. The design looks good, and they've got some handy tools for getting around. You can browse by category or view the latest or most popular sites. You can also jump to your favorite sites, as well.

The Cons

Non-exclusive content.

Gay Porn Access features entirely non-exclusive content. This is only a drawback inasmuch as there's a good chance you've seen a lot of these movies and models before. There's nothing original or groundbreaking about the DVDs.

Videos could be sharper.

The high quality wmvs play at 2100k and are 720x400. They look fine, until you enlarge them. That's when I started getting some rough edges and weird lines. The Flash quality was good, but again, not great. With more and more sites stepping up to high definition content, these are just average.

Minor Negatives:

The member's area had banners and links to other paysites and camsites. They make the site feel cluttered and detract from the overall look.
The video convert button didn't actually seem to do anything. I tried converting the wmvs to other formats but ultimately it still tried to download the wmv version. I'm not sure if that's a temporary problem, just my issue, or if the whole thing doesn't work.
There's no specific update info. They claim that the collection is updated several times each week, but the page of latest updates just lists sites with no actual dates.

Bottom Line

There's plenty to enjoy here at a very nice discount price

With the special discount price, there's no doubt that Gay Porn Access is a great value for anyone looking for a large, downloadable collection of gay porn. You really get a lot for your money, and it doesn't look half bad. There's still room for a few improvements but overall this is a fairly user-friendly site offering a lot of bang for your buck.
