Intro

Gay Porn Access is a gay video site that actually would be best described as an AVS which is a bit of an old school concept that means they have a bunch of sites under one umbrella. AVS's were kind of the forerunners of today's niche/video/reality networks in that it's many sites for the price of one however Gay Porn Access like other AVS's tends to have a lot of sites that are relatively small but many under any given niche. The bottom line here is that this is a large general collection of hardcore and solo guy gay downloadable videos.

The Pros

AVS Style Gay Network, Large Collection of Hardcore/Solo Videos.

Content is entirely video focused which is a plus and they include dozens of different niche themes so you have hardcore guy/guy, solo, and group action that covers everything under the gay umbrella. They have white and other ethnicities along with pro pornstar men along with more amateur looking guys. It's pretty much an all-encompassing gay collection which is what you'd expect from an AVS type set-up and it matches up to the concept that's presented on the guest tour.

Straightforward WMV Full-Scene Downloads, Good Speeds.

Movie options aren't flashy or all that varied but they do have the basics covered. Furthermore I like that there is consistency with full-scene WMV files available for download on all the sites I looked at. They tend to be around 100-300MB or so and saved quickly for me. Past TBP reviewer have also gotten good downloading speeds. The second video option is in-browser Flash streaming that plays within 10 seconds or so and allows for immediate jumping ahead.

Other Good Stuff:

The hub page includes a list of all the sites broken down by niche category and there are dozens of categories. There is also a keyword search tool.
These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.

The Cons

Mixed Bag of Non-Exclusive Content, Some Small Niches.

Content is not exclusive and they don't really provide any source or background info on any of the scene or models. With things organized by site the individual niche sites just present the content how they wish. Many of the niche are really small with just a few sites in place so in that way the quantity does have some issues. It's a mixed bag of material that doesn't have a whole lot of focus or cohesiveness in terms of the style, age, or source.

The AVS style set-up that's employed by Gay Porn Access is pretty dated and you don't see it all that much any longer. Newer networks that many users are familiar with surpass the AVS style by having exclusive content and macro network wide navigation tools for models and content.

No Update Specifics, Sites & Videos Have No Date Info.

The site has been around for years and although they do have recent site additions as a section on the hub there isn't any update specifics. It's completely unclear how often any of the sites or content have been around and what the actual pace of updates is.

Minor Negatives:

The videos options are limited in terms of there only being WMV format for downloads with the highest quality coming in around 2000k 720x528.
There are some upsell banner ads in the member's area for things like other paysites, PPV 3rd party movies, and live cam chat.

Bottom Line

Downloadable gay videos of in all sorts of niches presented in an AVS style set-up.

Gay Porn Access is a gay AVS that fits into what I expect to see from that genre of network. They do have a sizable collection covering all sort of gay action however it's non-exclusive stuff that's all over the map. The AVS type design is limiting in terms of browsing options and content details including update info is pretty much non-existent. The value of the collection comes entirely from the fact that it's a large archive of videos that works in all different types of hardcore and solo content.
