Intro

Gay Asian Twinkz pretty much tells you what they're all about in the site title. More specifically the site is part of the CJ XXX network which features a portfolio of hardcore gay sites. With Gay Asian Twinks the action is mostly hardcore and there is a definite raw amateur style to the content. The models also fit well with the twink theme as they are trim and slender asians. The samples on the tour are a good representation of what's found in the member's area.

The Pros

Exclusive Raw Gay Asian Content, Mostly Hardcore.

The content has a lot working in its favor since they do specialize in asian gay action and the models fit well with the twink theme. The style of content is also unpolished and quite raw giving it a nice amateur style. The bulk of the videos feature hardcore action and then the photos also have a lot of hardcore with some solo softcore.

Nice Sized Site, Several Hundred Scenes & Steady Updates.

For a network niche site with a specialized ethnic collection like this the quantity is quite solid with several hundred scenes. The site has been online for just a couple years and the video updates come regularly every 3 or 4 days. All content items are date-stamped which is good to see as well.

Other Good Stuff:

Videos are available in downloadable WMV and iPod formats and photo galleries allow for online image viewing plus they have zip files. Pictures are huge at around 3800x2100 for newest and 2500x1700 for older pics.
Browser download speeds are quite good as I was getting around 1.2MB/sec. This is on par with what I've seen from other network sites from this company.
Network access is included to CJ XXX which features a slate of similar hardcore gay sites with different ethnic and niche themes.

The Cons

Average to Low Video Quality, Some Scenes Broking into Parts.

Video quality and formatting is definitely the one area where improvement would be welcome. They only have one level of WMV with specs at 1500k 640x480. There's a bit of graininess with those specs and it gives the content a bit of a dated look. The photo quality far exceeds that of the videos and I think most users would prefer it to be the other way around. Some of the movie scenes are also broken into parts without full-shoot files available.

Basic Navigation, No Niche Breakdown or Model Index.

With the amount of content in place they don't offer up enough browse tools as they just have chronological video and pictures sections and a basic keyword search. Content descriptions are sporadic and not much model info is provided. Overall the layout is rough-around-the-edges.

Minor Negatives:

Updates to the photo gallery section seem to have stopped. The last addition was a couple years back so apparently the only future additions will be videos.
In-browser streaming is in WMV format which is pretty low quality and it's not possible to jump ahead in the scene. Also, download managers aren't compatible as my IDM software only got 1-channel with no pause/resume.

Bottom Line

The content is the star of the show here as the site's value emanates from the focus on asian twinks in raw style hardcore action. The main drawbacks have to be the video quality and design both of which could use an upgrade as they feel a bit out of date.
