Free Form Studios is up for review today, and this is mostly a photography site that features nude women showing off their body. It doesn't quite have the magazine-style that some sites have, but it's not really an amateur with a cheap camera type site either. I'd put it somewhere in between those. They've got a decent amount to see, and are still updating today. $15 gets you in for the first month, and then it's just $10 a month after that.
The Pros
Decent-sized site.
Photo sites are a little tough to judge in terms of numbers. Here, they have over 400 photo galleries up, which is pretty decent. While they compete with other sites that probably have tens of thousands of galleries, these are at least exclusive from what I can tell, and should be a little more unique than the more generic sites.
Exclusive photography sets.
I don't know what the story is behind the content, if there's a single photographer, or multiple. But, it seems to be exclusive from what I can tell, as a lot of the sets seem similar. Check out the preview in the tour and see if you like what's there.
Other Good Stuff:
The latest photos are getting pretty damn huge, coming in around 5000x3000 depending on the set.
Updates come in pretty consistently here. I don't see any set schedule, but expect 1-2 new sets per week on average.
The price tag is pretty nice here overall. I think it's spot on for what they offer, but there aren't a lot of sites that get under that $15 mark.
The Cons
Navigation is pretty bad.
Uggggh, so many pages! There are pages, and more pages, and more pages. Getting around isn't terribly difficult, though it is a bit cumbersome at times. But there are no search features, categories, or anything like that. There is a models index, but that can only take you so far. The site is just way too plain for my liking.
Hardly any videos.
They have five videos up, and they're almost impossible to find as there's not even a video section or anything. They're definitely not a huge priority here, so take note in case you think you'll miss that part of the site.
Minor Negatives:
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.
Bottom Line
It's a little basic overall, but you could definitely have some fun here.
Free Form Studios isn't going to impress your pants off in any areas, but with the low price and several hundred photo galleries, you could have some fun here. Check out the tour to get a feel for the type of content they have, as that's what'll matter most. Once inside, don't expect a ton. Navigation and options are definitely lacking. However, some of the sets are pretty fun, and the quality has been improving over the years. It's very basic overall, but could be a nice mix of simplicity and low price for some.
