Intro

Forbidden East is a BDSM/fetish sits that focuses in on Japanese content. It's a photo and video collection that has roughly three time the amount of galleries as it does videos. While Japanese bondage is the focus of things the collection does also include a section of Hentai videos so they venture in the anime fetish realm as well. The site has been around for about a decade so it's well established in that regard but seems to have settled in to having an average sized collection. The archive isn't as huge as you might expect from a site of that age however it's not a tiny collection either.

The Pros

Japanese BDSM, Hardcore, Hentai, & DVD Videos.

The nearly one hundred videos here include mostly Japanese hardcore BDSM and bondage action with all sorts of restraints, ropes, and toys. They also have some more general hardcore scenes, a section of hentai videos, and a handful of full DVD movies broken down into individual scenes for downloading/viewing. The main Japanese Bondage Videos section has shoots ranging from 30-60 minutes each so they are quite long shoots.

Several Hundred Japanese Fetish Galleries.

While the videos are probably the content centerpiece there are actually more photo galleries in terms or raw numbers. The pictures include fetish/BDSM action along with more solo model type shoots. The Japanese theme is consistent while the type of action does vary.

Other Good Stuff:

Videos do have date-stamps and they seem to be adding a new movie scene weekly or sometimes a couple times per week.

The Cons

Average Video Quailty with Clips Only, Many Small Pictures.

Content options aren't up to what I'm used to seeing nowadays. The WMV and QT downloads are in clip segments only without full-scene files. The quality on these tops out around 1300k 640x480 and the in-browser Flash streaming doesn't allow for immediate jumping ahead as the file loads while playing. The photo size/quality is all over the board with some nice images at around 1500x1000 and many others with really small images at about 550x450. There are also all sorts of different sizes with everything in between. It seems like ach set has its own resolution. Also, no zip files are offered nor are there image size choices.

Mixed Bag of Content, Seems to be Some Non-Exclusive Stuff.

The way things are organized and the lack of details make it tough to get a handle on where this stuff comes from. From what I can tell some of it looks original while other sets look like non-exclusive standard Japanese bondage galleries that are years old. To me it felt like a grab bag type collection without a lot of focus or consistency.

Minor Negatives:

Picture gallery section has no update details posted. I'm unsure if they are adding new galleries to the site.
Navigation is tricky to figure out sometimes. For instance the first few pages of a section called 'Japanese BDSM/Fetish Photos' had video scenes instead of galleries.
Considering the site has been around for a decaded and we've had it listed in the TBP directory for many years the amount of content isn't as large as you might expect and it's only an average sized site.

The other

Members can post feedback and comments on the content items however there are only a handful of entries that I saw.

Bottom Line

This Japanese bondage site has a mixed bag of photo & video content.

The focus on Japanese BDSM/fetish action is a pretty good specialty and Forbidden East does have some lengthy and entertaining scenes in their collection. What holds the site back is the inconsistency in the content itself and the quality such as the picture sizes. It's also frustrating that the videos are broken into clip segments and also sometimes episode parts which further breaks down an scene into more segments. Some of the is interesting and fun while others items look like dated non-original shoots.
