Erotic Asians is up for review today, and you can pretty much know what to expect when you hit this site up. It's a large archive of Asian content of all kinds, though it's definitely geared towards more mainstream (Americanized?) Asian stuff, and not the authentic, censored content you might find on sites straight from Japan. There's everything from solo to hardcore here, and everything in between. It's part of a network or two, including 18 Passport, that offer up several similar sites in a variety of niches. The $35 price tag is definitely way higher than I was hoping to see.
The Pros
Lots to see here.
The size of the site is definitely one of the best things they have going for them. There are almost 1,100 photo galleries, and over 300 videos. It's still not a "huge" site I guess, but it's definitely larger than most sites we come across. Then again, with the content they offer, the size is necessary.
Updates come often.
I don't know if there's a set schedule or anything, but the past week (a holiday week, no less) has brought 10 new photo galleries, and two new videos online. That averages out to a little more than daily updates, of course, which is good enough for me.
Other Good Stuff:
Their streaming setup works pretty well. They offer two WMV options, plus a Flash option, all of which start playing quickly enough.
Other downloads aren't bad either. Photos come in two sizes, plus a zip file, while videos offer two WMV plus an MP4 option.
The Cons
I wouldn't guess much is exclusive here.
It's really hard to tell what is what in terms of the content. There's a lot of material up, some of which could be exclusive, but they don't say much either way. A lot of the material is non-exclusive, which you can tell pretty quickly. The whole collection definitely had a generic feeling to it overall, without any special or real unique material.
Navigation is horrible.
Just getting around this site at all gave me a very uncomfortable feeling. Where are the videos? In the DVD section? In the films section? In the Elite Movies section? Even once you're there, you can't really tell what they're offering. Is the DVD content their own? Which links are taking me to feeds? There are no search options or features either, including a lack of a models index even.
Quality is average at best.
The quality is up and down quite a bit here, and overall it could be better for sure. Some videos and photos look okay, while others look rather dated and compressed. You never really know what you'll get from one set to the next, but it's generally not the best of news.
Minor Negatives:
$35 is too much to spend on a porn site these days. I don't mind ponying up if a site is extraordinary, but I'd call this one anything but extraordinary.
Bottom Line
A very generic site that's quite expensive, but at least offers a lot of content.
Really, the size of the site here at Erotic Asians is about the best thing they have going. I assume they have something you'll like here, though the content feels very generic overall. The size helps, as do the updates, but that's pretty much the extent of the fun for me. The navigation is horrible, and I don't know what half the sections are exactly. Much of the content appears to be non-exclusive, and often you'll end up on a feed or something without realizing it. The download options are okay, but there are no navigation options to speak of. Quality is average at best, and can fall below that pretty easily. The high price is the final kicker for me, as I just don't want to pay that much for a site unless it's perfect. It's not that I think you won't have any fun here, but they really need to do more to make the site more user-friendly.
