Intro

Ebony HDV is a collection of sexy black models in hardcore high definition videos and photos. One look at the tour and you can see that the emphasis here is on quality. The preview photos and trailers are big and sharp and the models are very hot. The site is part of the HDV collection of sites that members get access to, as well.

The Pros

High definition content.

This is a gorgeous collection of movies. The videos are H.264 mp4s that play at a whopping 12,000k! They're huge, at 1920 x 1080, literally filling your screen with hot, hardcore action. The photo quality doesn't disappoint either, with 1280 x 850 images. It's a really professional collection of action that you can enjoy in some extremely sharp scenes.

Other Good Stuff:

There are some good viewing options for the videos. Each scene can be downloaded as an mp4 in four quality settings and streamed in your browser using Flash in two quality settings.
Photos can be downloaded in a zip folder.
Members of Ebony HDV also get access to a dozen other channels with more HD hardcore in other categories.
Readers of The Best Porn can join Ebony HDV at a special discount price of $30 a month. That's a big savings off the regular price of $40 a month.

The Cons

Small collection.

Ebony HDV is a small site, with just 35 galleries and 36 videos online. The site has been around for two years, so you would think at this point they'd have a larger collection available. It won't take long at all to see everything here.

Erratic updates.

Updates are a bit all over the place. The last new scene was added 10 days ago. Before that it was a month and a half. Updates are coming, but it's impossible to say when. A consistent weekly update schedule would certainly be appreciated by members.

Could use more browse tools specific to the site.

Ebondy HDV is part of a collection of "channels" (basically sites within a network) and while it is easy to jump from one channel to another and to browse the entire network of channels, they don't make it easy to search through the scenes of any particular channel. For instance, if I search for "cumshot", I don't just get ebony results, I also get scenes from their MILF, teen, POV, and blowjob channels. There's also no way to just browse the models appearing on the ebony channel.

Minor Negatives:

There are a few banner ads in the member's area. They're a bit distracting and take away from an otherwise clean design.
I'm not sure about the exclusivity of these scenes. They don't come right out and claim them to be exclusive, but I also can't say I recognized them either.

Bottom Line

A hot, high quality ebony collection that needs more updates and growth.

With such big, beautiful movies, Ebony HDV is a great join for fans of sexy black models in hardcore scenes. The site is fairly user-friendly, and the discount price and network access make for a solid value. The main thing they need to work on is the size of the collection. There just aren't enough scenes online at this point. Hopefully they can get the updates rolling at a better pace, because this is a great collection that ebony fans will love.
