The guest tour is pretty much an open book so guests can browse through the titles and niche sections to see what's available here. You should be able to get a feel for the collection from that.

As far as DVD download sites go Ebony Giant's most distinguishing characteristic is that it focuses in on the ebony niche and then there are sub-categories of movies here. The total number of DVDs is well into the hundreds with content from different studios and newer movies along with older titles as well.
Straightforward Full-Scene WMV Downloads.
Video formatting is fairly limited however with that in mind they have gone with WMV format for downloading which is good to see. They have full-scene files and then WMV also for the in-browser streaming. Download speeds were pretty standard as far as browser saving goes. My download manager (software: IDM) wasn't really compatible here as it only got 1-channel with no pause/resume.
Some decent info is provided on the video pages like movie and scene running time, stars names that are hyperlinked, studio, and front/back box covers.
Movies are date-stamped with update information showing when they were added to the site.
Average Quality Videos, Just WMV Format, Incorrect File Sizes.
Certainly Ebony Giant trails a lot of other DVD movie and video sites when it comes to video options. They restrict things to just WMV with average to low level specs especially for this type of site. The in-browser streaming is WMV which is basic compared to so many sites nowadays that have Flash. They just post the same file sizes for nearly every movie so those details are useless.
Updates Tailed Off, Nothing in the 'Upcoming DVDs' Section.
At the time of this review they haven't added new content for a couple months so it seems this company isn't really paying attention here. The upcoming DVDs section is totally empty which also speaks to that. At their best they were adding one new movie per week which is slow anyways for a site like this.
Advanced Search Didn't Work, Basic Niches & No Model Index.
The advanced search page didn't work for me with a 404 error whenever I tried entering a search. The niche categorization is pretty basic and they don't have an interracial niche which doesn't make sense as an ebony site. There isn't a model index which is usually a staple navigation tool for DVD sites like this.
Some studios on their list have very few movies or even none at all. The same goes for some of the niche categories.
This is non-exclusive content with a mix of newer and older stuff from various studios.

An ebony DVD download site that's hurt by the relatively low video quality, slow updates, & high price.
With DVD movie sites being so popular there is definitely a place for ones that focus in on one studio or niche like Ebony Giant does. That being said the site isn't up to par in a number of key ways including the video options and quality. The slowing or stopping of updates also hurts and with these in mind the high price seems way out of proportion to what's here.
