David Nudes is a photography site, a "sophisticated nude" photography site actually. And while I consider myself somewhat of a pervert, I also like to think I have a good sense of sophisticated taste. So, I can tell you that this top quality, artistic photography site definitely delivers as promised. In the tour they mention their member%u2019s area as more of a "community", one where you can interact directly with the models and read full descriptions of how photo sessions are created and directed. All this for a small fee of less than $20 bucks per month (TBP initial join special of $14.88 for the first month), which is a real steal for more than 55,000 images and 185 videos (56 models), plus plenty of extras. It's always exciting to see good artistic photography sites, especially when it%u2019s done well and truly has something to offer users a little more "sophistication" with their beautiful nude models.
The Pros
Exclusive Nude Photography.
Exclusive artistic photography with lots of personality and extras, including: model bios, photo forums, community chat, "on location" information, "lessons", member submissions, etc. Basically, there is a lot to see and do here. Members are encouraged to get involved, as are the models. There is even a section for model blogs and it's a real treat for a site like this.
Advanced Site Design.
Great site design and navigation. I'll admit, I was a little overwhelmed at first, but not in a bad way. Once you get the hang of things, you're good to go. Poster updates can be viewed in chronological format and the interactive design allows you to see the latest from each section of the site: community chat, lessons, posters, member submitted photos, models, blogs, videos, etc. There is also a keyword search feature and a model index with bio information.
Amazing Quality Content.
Everything here looks great! The largest size image format offered goes up to 5616x3744 these days with older ones around 2592x3888 pixels! I've never seen anything like it - they're simply fantastic! HD video streams/downloads offer bitrates up to 6200k (1280x720) and newest up to 9400k (1920x1080), making for some of the absolute best quality content I've ever seen.
Many Download & Viewing Options.
Image sets offer small, medium, large and extra large size viewing formats with a download option for each. Alternatively, you can save an image to your favorites folder. Videos can be streamed using Flash, or downloaded as HD WMV, XviD, or iPhone format.
Other Good Stuff:
Updates often. There is always something new to see and do. Whether it's member discussion in the forums, blog reading, news updates, content updates, or etc., there is always something. Actual content updates are added just about every day.
TBP users are offered an introductory special price of less than $15 bucks for the first month before recurring at the normal price of just $19.95 per month.
Live video chats are offered with the models. Check out the schedule which lists dates and times for each. These are softcore chats, but a great bonus for users nonetheless.
The Cons
Site Design Takes Getting Used to.
The look of the member's area is definitely overwhelming and I'm not so sure it's suitable for smaller browser windows. There is a lot going on here and where to start can be a bit of a decision. There are some basic categorical breakdowns and users can also browse by date, but I'd also love to see some cross-linked tags for sets, and possibly even an advanced search tool.
Minor Negatives:
Some of the video clips are short, like 1-2 minutes short. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. I wish there were more of them and member forums/model blogs could use a little more activity as well.
Bottom Line
Gorgeous, artistic photos, amazing quality & a low price make this a good join.
This is the type of site that really, truly embodies artistic creation & expression; beautiful watercolors mixed in with some of the most stunning photography I've ever seen! No two "poster" sets (as they call them) are alike, and I think I've just found a new favorite nude photography site. Even better is the monthly price tag which is less than $20 bucks per month (and less than $15 for the 1st month for TBP users). Compared to my initial review here in 2008, the previous bugs have been worked out, and I really hope that users and models continue to put the effort in to getting involved. There are now about 56 models on the site so far and updates continue to grow the archives. David-Nudes.com is a good join for users on the market for a new nude photography site.
