David Nudes is up for review today, and their slogan reads that "it's all about quality." I like what I see here right from the get go, especially since I love the artsy nude type stuff that they offer here. Quality is indeed the focus as they offer 1080p HD videos, and four photo sizes going up to 5600 pixels or so for the newer sets. All the content here is from nude photographer David Weisenbarger, and he shoots a pretty good mix of indoor and outdoor stuff here. All the girls are pretty hot, but most don't go over age 30 or so from what I can tell. The site recently went through a redesign to add some more options, but it's still pretty simple overall. $20 a month gets you inside, which is a decent price here.
The Pros
The quality here is phenomenal.
It's all about the quality here at David Nudes, and it has to be since they post it right on their homepage. The videos look great at 1920x1080 and 9450kbps or so, but the photos really take the cake. I'm sure David is a photographer first, and it really show in the photos. They're perfectly put together, well-composed, well-lit, and offer up beautiful women. The pictures are large and always in focus, and portray the girls quite well.
Updates come daily.
I read that he added five new photo galleries and two new videos a week, but I see even more than that in this last week. There were seven new image galleries along with three videos this week, which is even better. I'd love to see the updates continue, especially the videos, to really keep those numbers climbing.
Other Good Stuff:
I like the four different photo sizes here, plus four different zip files to along with them.
The content has that "it" factor here that just gets me excited. The photos look great, the models are beautiful, the locations and setup are great, and there's also that something extra that just keeps you interested here.
There are lots of extras here from model info and blogs, to a whole section on how to shoot nude photography from the man himself. There's more than just the content.
The Cons
Could use more videos.
With almost 600 photo galleries, the nearly 70 videos just don't stand up as well. I love the quality in the videos, and I'm sure David is a photographer first, but I'd really like to see more videos here overall. With the current week's update schedule, they should get going pretty well in the near future.
Site is still a bit plain.
I'm glad they did a redesign to bring in more features, but the site is still a bit plain overall (in everything from design to navigation). The look is a bit plain, but it also feels a bit cluttered at times. I'd love to see everything streamlined and simplified, while still adding more (different?) options overall. It just feels a bit confusing with navigation stuff in the main area on the right, two different navigation menus on the left at times, and of course the main menu up top.
Minor Negatives:
For all the options they have here, the only real video options are a couple of WMV downloads. I'd love to see a full streaming video option (not just a streaming preview), and maybe a full-scene download option instead of just clips.
For some reason, they don't offer any streaming or Flash videos, which may annoy some.
The model page is ordered a bit randomly, and could use some more options for sorting.
The music can be a bit overwhelming in some of the videos, as I prefer to hear the girls compared to music. Some softer music overlaid on the actual audio would help (which they do at times thankfully).
Bottom Line
Okay site, but really great content and quality here.
The site here at David Nudes could be worse, but it could also be better, and it wasn't my favorite part of the review here. Instead, come to David Nudes for the content, where they excel above and beyond most sites out there. The pictures look flawless, the girls are beautiful, and the quality is fantastic. The photos were my favorite part of the site, which surprised me as I'm a video guy usually, but I think David just has the photo thing down to an art. The daily updates are great, the photo options are good (the video options could be beefed up), and the price isn't too bad either. You can get a decent idea of what they offer in the tour, but have no doubt that the content is great here. Join up for that reason, and you'll have no complaints.
