Intro

Danni.com is the brainchild of Danni Ashe and this site goes back to the earliest days of internet porn. I mean we're talking about 1995 folks! Danni has lasted the test of time and continues to update the different content sections with glamour style content of sexy models. There are also things like live cam shows and other features that are ongoing. So many well known pornstars appear in Danni's collection and the shoots feature a mix of solo girl and girl/girl action.

The Pros

Tons of Glamour Content, Years of Archives & Lots of Models.

Both the number of photo galleries and videos number in the thousands. The member's area has separate sections for the pics and vids and each of those areas is further sub-categorized. The titles will give you a good idea what's available so here they are. For the pictures: Model Galleries, Blooper of the Week, and Behind-the-Scenes. For the videos: Features, Live Events, Virtual Lap Dance, and Naked Joke of the Week.

Live Chat Events, Video Diaries, Casting Call Pics, Etc.

The centerpiece of Danni.com has to be the glamour style picture and video shoots but the special content sections are a big part of things too. These aren't just throw-in secondary content serving as extras. These things include live shows (with archive & schedule), model video diaries, casting call pictures, Red Room forum, and other items.

Clean Design, Content Categories & Model Index/Info.

It may take some surfers a minute or two to get acclimatized to the different content sections but overall the organization is solid. Each different type of content is housed in its own area and the model index is a useful navigation tool. Some "Top" lists like top models and top features are shown on the left margin of the site.

Daily Updates, Clear Info on Each Content Item.

Danni is a site that I've visited and reviewed many times over the years and the update history is consistent for the site in general. New stuff is added each day and the member's main page highlights the newest content. In the archives galleries and videos are date-stamped with info on when they were added to the site.

Other Good Stuff:

Full-video WMV files in three quality levels plus Flash streaming for newer movies.
Some higher-res videos available with specs of 2200k 960x540.
High-resolution images on the newer picture galleries.
Zip files are available for all the picture galleries including the casting call galleries.
Downloading speed was pretty good for browser downloads and download mangers are allowed.

The Cons

Average Quality Videos, Picture Size/Quality Varies.

Content quality is an area where Danni.com is showing its age a little bit. Especially for a softcore/glamour style site the quality levels are not as high as you'd expect. Some videos have what's designated as high-resolution files which are 2200k 960x540 but the bulk of the vids are 1300k 640x480. The same goes for the pictures which have some high-res pictures but the size and quality varies as you go through the archives.

Could Use Additional Search & Browse Tools.

Aside from a keyword search there isn't really any way to search/filter for specific types of action or model types. The model index is only sortable alphabetically, chronologically, or by popularity. There also aren't things like links to related type models. The keyword search is hit-and-miss with text-only results of content titles that are only semi-helpful.

Update Gaps in a Few Content Sections.

The update pace is a plus overall but in browsing the collection I did note a handful of areas with lengthy gaps or no recent additions. These included In Bed at Danni's, Model Diaries, and Behind-the-Scenes. In Bed at Danni's particularly caught my attention because the additions were going along fine and then stopped cold in early 2009.

Minor Negatives:

The downloadable movie files and picture zips do not have any file size information shown.
Flash streaming not available on older movies (WMV instead).
No pictures size/quality choices which is unusual for glamour content like this.

Bottom Line

Danni is a solid softcore/glamour site with years of archives & special content like live shows.

Danni.com's best asset is the huge database of glamour style content featuring sexy pornstars and adult models. The other content like live shows, features, and video diaries are an important part of things and helps give Danni's member's area a different feel from other glamour sites. While they have brought in some higher quality content on newer shoots the overall quality level and options is the main weakness here. Softcore sites like this often push the envelope in terms of content quality and Dannni hasn't done enough to keep up with the pack. All told though this is still a quality site with a good deal to offer.
