Intro

Burning Ticket is a network of video/reality sites with a collection of downloadable video episodes along with supporting photo galleries. A couple things stand out right away including the fact that this is a European company, German specifically, so there is a Euro flair to the action. Additionally the site concepts and themes include a lot of fetishes like latex, outdoor sex, femdom, groupsex, nylons, etc. Most of the sites here are fairly medium sized however taken as a whole the network is a good sized collection.

The Pros

Network of Euro Sites, Nice Mix of Fetish & Hardcore Themes.

As with most networks the video episodes are the centerpiece of the content with photo galleries offered as supporting content. The action includes all sorts of German/European hardcore and fetishes ranging from latex to groupsex to machines along with some more typical themes like teen and milf. It's a fairly eclectic mix with Euro pornstar models throughout. Shoots come in at around 20-30 minutes each.

Full Episode WMV Files, Pretty Impressive Flash Streaming.

They have the basics covered for downloading with full-episode WMV files and then M4V iPod format. The photo galleries have zips available as well. The Flash streaming is quite dynamic with quick loading/buffering, the ability to jump ahead, and filmstrip navigation. There are also multiple quality level options on the Flash.

Other Good Stuff:

Navigation options include browsing by individual site or by a model index along with a section for International Pornstars. There is also a network update log and episodes are date-stamped.
Bonus DVD content is included. Usually extra content like this isn't worth mentioning however they link to the different niche categories right from the network hub which is nice and it seems to be mostly European porn which might be new to a lot of users. These movies stream in Flash without downloads.
These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.

The Cons

Average Video Quality, Limited Download Format Options.

One area where Burning Ticked lags behind when compared to a lot of other video networks is in movie quality and format choices. The specs on the WMV come in around 1200k 720x570 which is below par by today's standards. Additional format choices and quality level options would be a welcome addition. The Flash streaming is more impressive than what's available for downloading. I think most users would prefer it to be the other way around.

Sluggish Download Speeds, DL Manager Use Can Vary.

Obviously download speeds can vary for different users based on connection, location, etc. However I took into account other reviews I've done for individual network sites in the past and our previous TBP reviews by other editors for Burning Ticket. Download speeds are a bit slower as I was getting around 300-400kb/sec so it does take a bit of time to save these 150-300MB files. Download manager functionality can vary as well.

Minor Negatives:

Download speeds are somewhat slow here as I was getting around 300-400kb/sec. This was on par with what other TBP reviewers found here and what I saw when reviewing individual sites within the network in the past.
Updates do vary across the sites with a few of them that aren't getting updated any longer.

The other

This is a European content site so most dialogue in the scenes is not in English. It's in German and there aren't subtitles.

Bottom Line

This network features a pretty wild mix of European hardcore & fetish action.

The basic set-up of Burning Ticket is in-line with what we expect to see from a network with exclusive video episodes with a mix of different niches and themes. The biggest selling point is the fact that it's a bit of a crazy mix of hardcore and fetishes with the European angle heavily in play. Probably the biggest drawback for users will be the limited download options and quality which are both lacking a bit.
