Intro

Boys Love 18 is a gay niche site that largely focuses in on hardcore guy/guy action. They also have some scenes that feature solo guy masturbation and other group scenes like threesomes. European is another niche that's in play here as the models are Euro guys because that's where this company is based. The site is actually part of the Teen Mega World network which is more of straight collection so while it's worth noting the bonus sites are not really geared towards the same audience as Boys Love.

The Pros

Hardcore, Solo Guy, & Threesome Videos & Picture Galleries.

Boys Love 18 has just under one hundred videos and things are organized by shoot in chronological order. One-on-one hardcore makes up the preponderance of the collection however there is noticeable variety with solo masturbation and threesome shoots. I also saw some cross-dressing in a handful of scenes plus the European models stand out as a defining characteristic.

Full-Scene WMV/AVI Downloadable Files, Clip Segments Option Too.

Generally speaking the options are consistent throughout with full-scene WMV files in three quality levels. Occasionally a scene will have a higher quality AVI file which has nice specs. WMV clip segments in one quality level are also available in addition to the full-movie files. Screen capture galleries with zip files accompany the videos on the shoots.

Other Good Stuff:

Shoots are date-stamped with update information showing when they were added to the site.
Clear file size information is posted for each movie.
These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.

The Cons

Highest Quality AVI Files Only on a Small Number of Movies.

The quality/specs on the AVI files are higher than the WMV option. Unfortunately shoots with the AVI option are in the minority. I couldn't make sense of it because it's not like the new additions have AVI and older ones don't. It just seems to be hit-and-miss and more often than not the AVI is not available on the majority of movies.

Site is No Longer Updating, Not an Overly Large Collection.

With all content clearly date-stamped it's easy enough to track the update history. The last addition shown was in January '09 so it appears the company has moved on to other projects and won't be adding more new stuff here. The site will just stand as is with the few years of archives that are available from when they were updating.

Minor Negatives:

Included network sites are mostly straight girl/guy niche sites.
Download speed is average and the high quality AVI files are quite sizable which means long download times.
Picture galleries are largely video screen captures.

Bottom Line

A gay niche site with hardcore & solo guy shoots featuring European models however the site isn't updating anymore.

While Boys Love 18 is part of a larger network it really has to be looked at as a standalone entity because the other network sites are straight sites. The European guys and full-shoot downloads are Boys Love's best assets while the lack of updates and average amount of content are the most notable weaknesses.
