Intro

Bondage.com is a BDSM community website with bondage and fetish erotica as well as a photo database and then 3rd party video feeds. The community is what things revolve around and it includes a variety of member/user driven features including profiles, groups, blogs, message boards, A/V chat, etc. In addition there are things like erotic stories and BDSM resources/guides. The site has been up and running for over a decade-and-a-half so it has been a going concern for a long, long time.

The Pros

Many Active User-Driven BDSM/Fetish Community Features.

Bondage.com's centerpiece is the mix of community features that include a nicely varied number of items such as: profiles, personals, message boards, blogs, AV chat, user pictures/audio clips, columns, and a few others I might have missed. These community items are active features with lots of users that keep things going and this is indeed a robust BDSM community with a lot of users who are online and interact.

Huge Photo Archive of BDSM Pics, Mix of Styles/Models.

Along with the community portion of the member's area the photo gallery archive is the main Erotica component. There are over 350 pages of photo galleries with 64 galleries per page totaling over twenty thousand sets. That's a whole lot of pictures and then when you throw in pictures from users in their profiles it makes for a huge database. The erotica pictures are a great variety spanning everything from pro studio stuff to amateur style content to B&W and artwork. It spans all different sorts of styles and genres relating to fetishes and BDSM.

Other Good Stuff:

Pricing is fair with monthly membership at $19.95/mo. They have a clear account management section for members which allows you to see your billing history, manage billing, or cancel membership.
Site design is user-friendly in that they make it easy enough to figure out and navigate through the different content sections. With the mix of community and user content this is important since things could get cluttered or confusing quickly if it weren't laid out well. The photo gallery section has a useful search/filter tool.
There is a big section of erotic stories with an archive of all different types of categories like straight, lesbian, mixed, etc.

The Cons

Photo Galleries Don't Have Zip Files, Quality/Size Varies.

If the sheer quantity and variety of the photo archive are its main positives the photo quality does vary across the collection. Also, I'm really disappointed that they don't have zip files for downloading the sets. I would think that this would be an option that users would really like to have to save the content.

No Video Content, Just 3rd Party Feed Links for Movies.

Video/movie content is really the one thing missing from Bondage.com. If they are going to call themselves 'the most exciting bondage and fetish website' then I think some videos would be appropriate. As it stands they just have outside plug-in feeds and then PPV videos from a 3rd party site.

Minor Negatives:

There are some upsells worked into the content sections here like for things like products/stores, live pay-per-view webcams, and pay-per-minute videos.

Bottom Line

An active & long-running BDSM fetish community with a large photo archive too.

Bondage.com delivers on its principle purpose of being an active BDSM and fetish community. There are a lot of users here with daily activity across the different user-driven features. The photo archive is the other main content items with lots of erotic stores available as well. The site comes up short in terms of videos as they have none on the actual site and rely on 3rd party feeds in that section. You're also going to get some upsells worked in to the design for stuff like PPV videos, live cams, and personals.
