Take the shemale niche and make sure all the models are black, and you're off to a good start. They have everything from solo to hardcore action as well, so there should be something for everybody. Shemales are a niche enough, and add in the fact that they're all black here, and it makes it all the more unique. There's everything from solo jackoff scenes to full hardcore action (with guys or other shemales usually). So if you like the sound of it, it's probably one of the few sites you can find with content like this.
Network access included.
It looks like they used to offer increasing network access for each month you were a member, but not their join page shows off that you get instant access to the whole thing. It's not huge, but you get access to a few other sites, all tranny-related, and all offering very similar content.
Videos offered in HD.
All of the videos I checked out here came in high definition, which was great to see. The videos look quite nice, and even their streaming video comes in HD if the set includes it. This definitely helps them stand out from the crowd a bit.
Navigation is decent here with a category search setup, which helps a lot. It's not perfect, as the layout was not my favorite, and things like the models index are for the whole network, not each individual site.
Updates do come in here weekly at least, which is good to see. It's pretty standard in terms of update schedules, but at least the site is active, and they're pretty consistent.
Of course, all of the content here is all exclusive. It's expected these days, but worthy of a note here.
Needs some growth still.
There just isn't a ton to see here unfortunately. They have just under 70 scenes up, which isn't the smallest I've seen, but they definitely have room for some growth still. The updates are coming, but it'll take some time before the numbers are better.
As I see on many sites these days, the file sizes they list for video downloads are off. It's not a huge deal, but I always wonder how it happens.
The actual website is a little slow to respond at times. Pages take just a few seconds longer than normal to render, so I'm not sure what's up there.
Though they have an in-browser video available here, it's not an actual streaming video. You can only jump ahead so far as you've actually downloaded, instead of being able to jump around right away.
Not bad for a little niche content, but I'd really love more content here overall.
They're off to an okay start here at Black Shemale Stars, but without more content, it's going to be tough to get too excited here. You do have the network to help you out, but if the black thing is pretty important, that may be not much help. For what they do have, the quality is decent enough, and the niche is pretty specific. If they can keep up with updates and growth, this could be good in time.
