Intro

ATK Movies is from the same company as ATK Galleria and ATK Archives and a handful of other sites. Their sites other from ATK Movies tend to be large collection with original content with standard monthly membership pricing. Here the set-up is pay-per-video through a token or 'Crown' system. Once purchased the movie can be downloaded and is yours but they do charge per video.

The Pros

Amateur Style Movies, Nice Mix of Models & Action.

The movies here are entertaining and for a video archive its different from all DVD based collections in that the style here is more amateur. There are models of all ethnicities with an emphasis on girls who look to be about 18-28 year olds although they do have a small milf section. Action includes hardcore girl/guy, lesbian, and solo and they get into a few fetishes as well. There are also some sections of interview and behind-the-scenes which also add to the variety.

Large Collection, Steady Updates & Good Update Info.

The content totals are solid with thousands of individual video scene that come in at around 15 minutes each, depending on the shoot. The videos are date stamped and they add multiple videos each day so growth is steady. The total number of models is a few hundred so there's a nice amount of those to choose from as well.

HD Newer Videos, WMV/MOV Files & Flash Streaming,

Video options include high-def MP4 on the newer additions with specs of 1920x1080 8000k which look great. They also have WMV and Flash formats available. The older movies without the high-def still have the same content formats just without the high-def specs.

Other Good Stuff:

The Crown pricing for each movie is clearly posted as is your account balance on the member's area header. After clicking 'Buy Movie' there is a verification to confirm your purchase.
Navigation options include a model index, niche categories, and a keyword search. They also have a my library tool showing a list of purchased movies.

The Cons

Expensive Pay-Per-View System, Many 4 or 5 Crown Videos.

ATK Movies is sort of a crossover site in that it's not a flat membership or a pay-per-view stremaing/rental site. Here you purchase tokens called 'Crowns' and then purchase videos which can then be downloaded and viewed without any restrictions. The crowns equate to one dollar each and movies range from 1 to 5 crowns mostly although I ran into 6 and 7 crown videos. Just a handful of videos will add up quickly and cost more than memberships to most paysites.

Many Average Quality Videos, HD Videos Aren't Marked.

As I noted in my Pro bullet points the newer videos are high-def with impressive specs however there's no way to know if a videos is HD until you actually purchase it with the crowns. They aren't tagged or marked nor is there a section dedicated to them. Non-HD movies do have only average specs so there is a notable drop-off on the mid-range and older scenes.

Minor Negatives:

No video file size or spec information is posted. They just have basic icons for the formats without any further file details other than running time length.
There are a lot of movies her they could use some additional advanced search/filter tool since the browse features they have are pretty broad.
Some upsell banner ads in the member's area. Mostly these are for ATK's other paysites.

The other

Members can rate movies on a 5-star scale although there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of activity on that system.

Bottom Line

Lots of amateur style movies with all sorts of action with an unusual pay-per-video 'Crown' pricing set-up.

The fundamentals of ATK Movies are solid with the fun movies and well-rounded download/viewing options including high-def levels on newer additions. The main thing that stands out on the negative side is the token/crown pricing which will make the cost add up quickly if you go for more than a handful of movies.
