Intro

Adult.com is a straightforward site name and the content here is easy to get a handle on as well. It's a DVD download sites with thousands of movies available across a range of popular niches. Overall the site fits the mold of what you'd expect from a DVD site of this kind with titles from all sorts of studios, tons of pornstars, and hardcore action of all kinds.

The Pros

Large Archive of DVD Movies, All Sorts of Popular Niches/Stars.

The main asset Adult.com brings to the table is that is offers up a couple thousand full DVD movies which translates into many thousands of individual scenes. The hardcore action covers all the popular niches you'd expect from tons of studios so the content ranges from polished movies to more amateur looking action. It's a nice compilation of hardcore action that covers all the bases.

Full-Scene & Clip WMV/MP4 Downloads, Flash Streaming.

Movie options are straightforward and they have the essentials covered with full-scene WMV and MP4 downloads with clip segments also offered in both formats as well. The in-browser Flash streaming works quite well with quick loading/buffering and the ability to jump around at any time. For the most part things seem consistent with regards to these options other than the 'HD' labeled movies which have the streaming only.

Other Good Stuff:

Download speeds were quite good for me at around 1.5-2.0MB/sec which makes for pretty fast saving of these 200-350MB files. They also have file size information posted for each scene.
Navigation tools include niche categories, pornstar index, studio list, recent updates log, and a keyword search.
These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.

The Cons

Could Use Addt'l Video Options, No Downloads on 'HD' Videos.

The movie options could be improved in terms of having higher resolution files since what they offered here is only average. They only have the one quality level per format which is limiting. What most jumped out at me is that a small number of the movies are labeled 'HD' and those are restricted to Flash streaming only. I could not locate any download links or options for those which was quite annoying. Also, while the Flash steaming is larger the quality doesn%u2019t seem to be actual HD in terms of the sharpness.

Average Design/Navigation, Some Broken Links or Pages N/A.

Navigation tools are okay however they haven't done anything that goes beyond the basics. The model index is text-only without any preview pictures which limits the usefulness of that feature. I ran into one specific problem while browsing and that was videos or movies that are no longer available. They show up in either the niche category of model index listings but when clicked on just refresh back to the member's home pages. That was quite frustrating. Also the keyword search auto-filled in pornstar names but I got Page N/A when trying to click on the names from that feature.

Minor Negatives:

For the most part the update information is vague with general tags like "added 10 hours ago", "added 1 month ago", etc.
Mostly non-exclusive content. There might be some original stuff in there however like most DVD download sites this is a general collection from a variety of studios.

Bottom Line

A straightforward DVD downloads site with a sizable collection but not many frills.

Quantity is the best selling point of Adult.com as it does have quite a large number of DVD movies that hit on all the niches you would expect. The downloads include full-scene WMV/MPG and Flash streaming which is all right however I don't like that the 'HD' labeled movies have just the streaming only. The site has been around for a while so it's likely to keep on going with this set-up.
