3D Sex Games is up for review today, and this actually a bit of software that we're taking a look at. The current iteration goes by 3D Sexvilla 2, and it's something you have to download and install on your PC (sorry Mac users). Pricing is a little difficult to figure out as they give very little info on that in the tour. Our site facts show a $30 recurring charge, but then there are also these sexcoins you have to buy, which unlock more features in the game. Suffice to say that it could add up pretty quick.
The Pros
Pretty unique software, of course.
You have to offer something pretty different, compared to a website, for people to want to go through the effort of buying and running the thing. They do a pretty good job here with lots of options, lots of camera angles, lots of girls and guys to buy (if you want), and lots of random additions to your scenes. You're basically controlling the sex action of these little 3D computerized people, and they're always in the mood and willing to do what you want them to.
Lots of options available (for a price).
The options range from more people and sex positions to dildos, toys, whips, handcuffs, locations, and more. Each one costs you a little bit of money though, so it's a bit of a mixed bag overall. I'd love to see a single "buy it all" option at a discount.
Other Good Stuff:
If you want to take the time, there's a lot of customization and sharing features available. You can make your own poses and toys, and then share them with others.
The Cons
Can get expensive; lots of upsells.
Going along with the pro listed above that they offer so many options, it definitely sucks that most of them cost extra money to add to your collection. Thankfully with the coin route, there's no monthly pricing or anything, so in theory, you can pay for only what you want/need. However, it could add up quickly compared to other sites where you get everything they offer for one lower price.
Pain to install and learn everything.
As with any software, some people will be leery, and others will run into trouble when doing the download and installation. It's for Windows users only, and it worked fine for me. However, it's a huge extra step to go through.
Minor Negatives:
I wouldn't necessarily call this much of a game. There's some kind of points you can earn the more you play it seems, and I guess you could try to get everyone off at the same time, but there's not really an overall point to the game. You just watch these computer people go at it for a while.
Bottom Line
It's fun for a little bit, but it'll be a pretty tough sell for most people.
First, you have to get past the fear of installing programs to get 3D Sex Games going. Once it's up and running, you have to get past the cost, which can add up pretty quickly (why not offer an all-inclusive deal?). Then, you have to take the time to learn the game enough to find some enjoyment out of it. All of these things will hold them back for a lot of people who just don't want to go through all the trouble.
Once you get going, the game can be fun enough. You get to basically have full control over some 3D-model sex scenes, which can get unique. They have lots of different views, and options to choose from. About the only "game" I could see making out of it was trying to make everyone cum, thanks to their excitement meters. However, you're limited by whatever poses and packages you buy, which are limited by your budget, and whatever the owners make available.
It's cool, but it's a tough sell overall for me. The best part is all the different camera angles that you control, but the downside is not getting to look at real people (and the few bugs that pop up from time to time). It's a slick piece of software and works pretty well, as long as you're interested in what it offers.
