Bars and Stripes is a really cool site that not only offers a theme for it's punishment content, but does it well. There is a real prison set-up here with different inmates with different sentences (12 years- internet fraud, etc.), cell blocks, actual intakes, story lines and so much more. Of course the action is right on point with caning, spankings, solitary confinement, and more.

Lengthy story-lines, scene and inmate info is offered. Bars & Stripes doesn't lack in terms of personality, that's for sure!

To go with the sites theme, content can be navigated but update, inmate, and/or area of the prison.

Quality can be alright these days with 2600k WMV videos and images up to 2000p.

ZIPs are offered for the image sets.

All Videos Broken Down Into Short Clips, No Full-Length.

All scenes are broken down into a series of clips (1-4) and there are no full-length scene downloads. Most clips run about 5 minutes in length. A full-length download option at the end of each full scene update would be a nice addition.

In addition to the fact that all scenes are broken down into a series of clips is the fact that there is no in-browser streaming option available and all videos are given in WMV format without alternate file type file formats of quality choices.

Quality Could Still be Better.

Compared to the HD scenes we're used to seeing from many sites these days, Bars and Stripes is a bit behind in terms of quality. The actual images themselves could be brought up a notch, too, in terms of sharpness, color and overall consistent sizing. Older videos offer bitrates closer to 1000k to 1500k.

New updates are listed and dated but the actual content itself is not date stamped.

Where Bars and Stripes really shines is in terms of its originality and commitment to its theme. I love the scenes themselves and the set-up, but lack of full-length files, alternate viewing/streaming options, date stamps on the content, among other things, leaves something still to be desired here. In the end, though, I'm a fan of the content and if they'd just put some full-length final scenes together there would be a world of difference in the enjoyment factor for this site.
