Intro

Staxus is up for review today, and you might not know it from the name, but this site features European guys in hardcore bareback gay action. It almost feels like a DVD site of sorts, but they shoot all their own material, which is great to see. It's pretty large for a paysite, and you can get a good idea of what they feature. $30 a month gets you in the door, which is about what I was expecting, but it's just access to one single paysite vs. some sites that offer a bonus network as well.

The Pros

Pretty large site.

There's definitely a solid number of scenes up as it stands already, with more coming very regularly. Expect over 1,100 video scenes up, which is enough to keep you busy for a while I'd think. Plus, it's all exclusive, which is even better.

Updates come regularly.

They add new scenes pretty regularly here, which is great to see. This past week brought four new videos and four new photo galleries, which is pretty typical here. It's no wonder they got up to their decent size they've got now.

Quality is decent lately for videos.

They offer high definition videos these days, which I guess is pretty much the norm now, but it's good to see here. It's not the best HD in the world, but it keeps them current at least.

Other Good Stuff:

Of course, all of the content here is all exclusive. It's expected these days, but worthy of a note here.
They have some nice extras here including a decent blog, forum, and more, and have been working on adding things like model bios, etc. to round things out quite a bit.

The Cons

Older quality isn't as good.

The older videos that aren't in HD look a little below par for what we're used to seeing these days in my opinion. They look more like DVD content that's been compressed a bit. The photos aren't anything special, either, even on the newest stuff.

Navigation needs work.

They could use more advanced search features in my opinion. They're large enough that it's a little difficult finding specific types of content, and the plain search box (that may only search scene titles) isn't cutting it. I'd love some kind of customizable search feature to look up two (or more) categories of content at a time.

Bottom Line

Nothing too above and beyond, but they have a solid collection of bareback gay porn here.

Staxus doesn't really wow with any over the top features or anything, but they stick to the basics and do them pretty well. They have a good-sized site that has a little bit of a niche going on to keep you interested. Updates come often, and newer scenes are looking okay with the HD and all. Older quality isn't quite as good, however, and navigation could be beefed up. However, these definitely aren't deal breakers, and I think you'll have a good time here as a whole.
