And they were one of the companies that was able to make to the move from VHS to DVD and then to online. So, I had high expectations here. Were those expectations met? Let's find out.
Amateur and Mostly Exclusive
I did a lot of browsing on the site before I started writing and in doing so I came across at least one scene that I recognized from another site. I assume it isn't the only one, but most of the content does seem to be exclusive (at least to the network). Regardless, it's all amateur. From true made-at-home action submitted by regular folks to amateur girls and couples getting it on for some guy being the camera, the type of porn varies, but it sure all fits the niche very well.
Network Access
The site is part of the Homegrown Video network and as a member you have access to the other nine sites therein, including the likes of Homegrown Creampies.
The site's design is okay and the navigation is not an issue. There's a site dropdown should you want to browse another site in the network and you also have simple menu links as well as category tags and an advanced search.
As you will see in the cons, updating is a bit of an issue, but with 173 videos already available, you'll have enough to keep you busy for a while.
Infrequent Updating
Looking at the dates, I see that they've gone through update droughts in the past, so it's very possible the site will continue to grow in the future. However, as I look at it right now, they've gone three months without an update.
Video Quality
The videos are downloadable and they all offer three quality options, with the best calling itself "high" and claiming 3000k. The 3000k was accurate for every scene I downloaded, but the screen sizes varied, mostly from 640x480-1024x768 and they generally looked mediocre to average. Some of this can also be attributed to the fact that some of the videos look pretty dated. The one higher-quality HD video I did see was the one that I recognized from another site.
There are no photos - just vid caps - with each scene.
There is a 12GB/day download limit. I never like download limits, but 12GB means it shouldn't hinder you that much.
