Magazine with Exclusive Black/Latin Guy Pics & Vids.

Flava men delivers nicely an all exclusive collection of black and latin men in mostly solo action along with some hardcore guy/guy. The black and latin mix is well done and neither dominates the collection. Each issue has a handful of models in photo and video shoots so even though it's a 'magazine' the online version has videos for every model which is a real plus. My initial guess was that they would be focused on solo guys and photos but they definitely have videos and hardcore action in this member's area.

Newer Videos are HD, Photo Gallery Zips Available.

Newer videos are available in full-scene WMV files with 1280x720 5000k HD specs. These newer videos also have other format options like MP4 and standard-def WMV. Video file sizes and running time length are posted. They have in-browser streaming and the photo galleries have both online images and zip files for downloading the sets.

Content is organized by magazine issue. They provide model physical stats and background info. There are also articles from the issues including editorials, fiction, and reviews.

They have good info about both the online and print magazine options on the guest tour. It's easy for first time visitors to figure out their join and subscription options. The monthly price for the online version is pretty darn low.

Photo Size Could be Better, Older Videos are Lower Quality.

The photos are sized at 750x500 and although they are sharp/clear I expected a larger base size from a magazine collection. There aren't any image size or quality choices for either the online picture or zips. The older videos also are not in HD and have lesser format options.

Only Three Issues Added per Year, No Recent Issues.

The issues go back to 2004 with Spring, Summer, and Fall-Winter issues from the past years. That means they historically have added three per year which is a slower update pace. More of concern at the time of this review (Jan 2013) is that the last issue was Summer 2012 so it's been half a year with no activity. It's possible they've stopped new publication but that's not really clear.

Overall the site is only small to medium sized. Each issue has a handful of models and shoots. There are just about two and a half dozen total issues.

Downloads were slower than average for me and I see our previous TBP reviewer noted the same thing. Some of the HD videos are sizable and can take some time to save.

What most surprised me about Flava Men is that for a magazine based site they have videos for every model and that there's a nice amount of hardcore as well as solo guy shoots. The main concern is that this is a mid-sized site and the updates have tailed off. The last issue put online was put online over six months prior to this review so it's not clear if they're still actively creating new issue of if the site will just remain as-is from here on out.
