Exclusive niche material.

These are all original scenes that play to some wild and unique fetishes. This is a gay BDSM site with authoritative men in uniform. That's a lot of niches and they do a good job with all of them. The men are brutally restrained with ropes, tape, and ties and forced into gay acts by their captors. It's a very dark collection with some decidedly twisted fantasies.

Academy Men has a good number of scenes, with 425 galleries and 225 video clips. They vary in size and length (yes, they do...) but all in all there's still plenty here to keep members entertained.

I liked the additional sections with the forum and member profiles. The site has a subtle community vibe to it that lets you chat with like-minded fans.

Below average quality content.

The content quality could definitely use a boost. The videos are absolutely tiny, at 320 x 240. Nobody makes videos that small these days. They also were lacking in sharpness. The photos vary, with some better and some worse but none all that good.

No video viewing options.

The videos can be streamed or downloaded, but that's it in terms of options. You're limited to mp4s for downloading and movs for streaming, with no other formats or quality settings available.

There are no zip downloads for the photo galleries.

The design and navigation are very basic. There weren't many tools for getting around the site.

You can ONLY join for a minimum of 6 months, at $45. There's no brief trial and not even a regular monthly membership. They hook you for the full six months right from the start.

The original niche scenes are solid but the rest of the site is lacking.

Academy Men gets credit for staying true to their very kinky niche with hot original scenes. The site itself, though, left me unimpressed. The content quality needs an upgrade and the whole thing needs to be more user-friendly. I just don't see it being worth the high cost and 6 month membership. Maybe if you're really into the theme it could be worth it, but too much work is needed here to really get behind the site.
