Intro

Idols 69 features an archive of downloadable Japanese hardcore videos/DVDs. Essentially it's a DVD download site with non-exclusive content that focuses in on just Japanese porn. Idols 69 is also the flagship site in the All Japanese Pass network so those bonus sites are also included with membership. The guest tour layout is very much an open-book style so visitors can navigate around using the same tools and methods as members. Spending a few minutes jumping around the tour will let you know what titles and models are included and give you a good feel for the collection in general.

The Pros

Japanese Hardcore Video/DVD Archive, Nice Mix of Niches.

The basic set-up of Idols 69 fits with movie/DVD download sites with the obvious difference that the content is all Japanese movies. It's a wide-ranging general collection of Japanese porn that hits on all sorts of popular and micro-niches so it's just a complete well-rounded collection. This is the type of archive you want to see from a Japanese movie site of this kind.

Quantity is a real positive as there are over a couple thousand DVDs which translates into many thousands of individual scenes. The movies are the key part of the site even though they do have a section of hundreds of photo galleries. The videos are what the site is really all about.

Japanese porn often has the blurred/censored hardcore and that is the case here. What I like is they have a dedicated section of Uncensored Movies so users don't have to go hunting and pecking for them. Navigation has niche sections and a handful of categories have sub-sections which are useful. The Cons

Non-Exclusive Content, Mostly Censored/Blurred Hardcore.

The collection is non-original DVDs which is typical of movie download sites like this. While they do have the dedicated section for Uncensored Movies the bulk of the content (~90%) does have the blurring/censoring of the hardcore. Some of the niche sections are smaller or get infrequent updates. These are usually more micro-section like strapon lesbians or double penetration.

One Quality Level Per Format, Could Use More Options.

Movie options cover the fundamentals with a few formats that range in quality but they aren't as developed as we see from other sites nowadays with different quality options within each format, clips, etc. I'd have to say the Flash streaming functionality impressed me more than the download options.

Minor Negatives:

Update to the photo gallery section are pretty random and they don't date-stamp the galleries like they do the movies.
There are some member's area upsells/ads for things like other paysites and live cams.

These guys have set up a special discount monthly price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate. The trial membership is limited access though.

A big archive of downloadable Japanese hardcore DVDs plus network bonus sites too.

Idols 69 is the flagship site in the All Japanese Pass network and it doesn't really need that network since this has a big archive of DVDs in its own right. It's a great source for fans of Japanese porn who want a downloadable library of non-exclusive titles. The one thing you do have to put up with is mostly blurred/censored movies which sort of goes with the territory in this genre. The section they have set aside of non-censored titles is definitely small in comparison to the full movie library.
