Intro

Met Art is one of the leading glamour photography and video sites around. The site has been online since 1999 with exclusive content of sexy European models in stylish high-res/HD shoots. The guest tour allows visitors to navigate around the year/month archives as well as the model index so spending a few minutes there will clearly show what type of content and girls they feature. Met Art memberships can be purchased for just this site or they have a fairly new Met Art Network which includes a group of their sites for a higher price. As noted above members of another option is for Met Art members to purchase access to their other sites for $10/mo.

The Pros

Exclusive Artistic Photography/Videos, Sexy Europan Models.

Met Art refers to itself as 'fine orography' which is an apt description even though they are heavy into both photography as well as video content. They have artistic and stylish softcore shoots of models in solo and sometimes girl/girl striptease and posing. Most models are Eastern European although there are so many they also do come from American and other parts of the world too. There's actually a nice mix of hair color and ethnicities to be found. Indoor and outdoor locations are used and this is professional erotic stuff that has high production value.

Right in the header it says 'Online Since 1999' so that gives them quite a track record as updates do continue to roll out with multiple daily photo gallery additions and videos about twice per week. The content totals are really nice with around thirteen thousand galleries at the time of this review and nearly one thousand video scenes.

Ultra High-Res Photos, HD Quality Videos, Excellent Options.

Glamour sites like this should lead the way in terms of content quality and that's the case here. I also like that they include country of origin and photographer filters. There is also a favorites tool as well as a user niche tagging system.

Other Good Stuff:

All galleries and videos are clearly date-stamped with update info and also the photographer name which is hyperlinked so users can jump to other related shoots.
Members can post feedback and comments on the shoot pages as well as the models. Models can be rated on a 10-point scale.
The photo galleries show the exact size of the images both in resolution and file size. When you change from high, med, low the image info updates immediately.

The Cons

Content Quality/Options Dips on Older Galleries & Videos.

Considering content quality is one of Met Art's biggest assets it's worth mentioning that the level has improved over the years. The progression has been steady so as you head back into the archives for several years back or to earlier stages of the site the quality levels and options do dip. Photos can top out more at around 3000x2000 or even 1500x1000. Video formatting doesn't include the HD level on all the movies as some have older 640x480 quality movies. I also think the bit-rate on the HD videos could be higher. I'd really like to see them push the envelope with their videos specs like that as they do with the photos.

Minor Negatives:

No file size info is provided for the video downloads or photo gallery zips. Some of these files are really large even the high-res gallery zips.
Videos do have background music instead of the scene audio which might be an issue for some users. Also, There are a lot of models here that just have photography content without any video shoots available.
There are a few ads here like for their other paysites, banners, and live cams.

Met Art is one of the leading sites in the softcore glamour photography genre. They've been at it for a long time and have all the components in place that we like to see from a site like this. Basically you can set your watch to the fact that they'll continue to roll out new updates based on how consistently they've done that along the way. The most recent change is the way they've now incorporated a network and bonus site option for users. Met Art does just fine as a standalone site but fans should like the way they've put in place a full network join option or bonus sites on an a la carte basis for those who prefer that method.
