Intro

Boy Crush is a gay niche site with an original collection of photo galleries and videos. If I had to come sub-categorize the site I'd say they fall into the twink, amateur, and hardcore categories since the models are 18-25 year old types that fit well with the site's 'Boy Crush' title. Guests can get a nice feel for what they're all about on the tour as they have a directory of the models and content samples that are an accurate representation of the member's area content.

The Pros

Exclusive Gay Content w/ Hardcore, Solo, & Interviews.

Aside from them having younger type models there are a few other things that make this an entertaining collection. Lots of the shoots feature hardcore action and the solo guy scenes have jerking off and dildo play. There are a good number of videos that fall into the interview category as well with give and take with the cameraman. This is a strong collection of original content.

Boy Crush has several years of archives so they have a nice track record of continuous updates and growth. The Cons

Only MP4 Format for Downloads, Slowish Download Speed.

The number of sites that only go with MP4 as their movie format is in the minority so that's worth pointing out. They don't have additional formats to choose from other than the Flash streaming. There's is a notation on the member's main page that their sites works best with Firefox rather than IE. When using IE the download speed was pretty slow at around 300-350KB/sec. Using download manager IDM (in IE or Firefox) the speed was standard at about 1.7MB/sec.

Pic/Vid Quality is Fairly Average, Could Use Higher-Res Content.

This is not a big issue but there is one area where there's room for improvement. The specs on both the pictures and videos are fairly average for a paysite. Exclusivity on the content is a bigger selling point for Boy Crush's content rather than the quality.

Minor Negatives:

Unlike the videos the pictures don't have date-added info shown on the galleries.
There are a couple upsells in the member's area like DVD sales and live cams.
