Intro

Swank Mag is the official website of Swank Magazine, a publication that has been keeping readers entertained with their print version for many years. Their online presence includes a nice mix of archived magazines, exclusive digital galleries, and many of their DVD movies. The site is, of course, part of Swank Pass which members also get access to.

The Pros

Large, original Swank collection.

Swank Mag features all original scenes of their hot magazine models. The collection includes a mix of hardcore, lesbian, and solo scenes. You'll see more than 587 videos and 61,000 photos on this large site that has been online for more than 7 years.

Good navigation tools.

I loved the search tool on Swank Mag! It lets you search by any combination of categories, keywords, and date. Photos and videos can be sorted by date, name, and popularity. If you prefer to browse just the content from one site, you can do that, too. It's a big site but getting around isn't hard at all.

Other Good Stuff:

Photos can be downloaded in zip files and they're offered in up to three image sizes.
Some newer videos have some good viewing options. Each scene can be streamed in browser using Flash in multiple quality settings. There are also several quality options for the wmv downloads and some scenes also include an mp4 option, as well.
Content quality is good overall. I didn't put this as a major pro because I can't say I was blown away by the quality, but all in all it's a very solid collection with good-sized photos and sharp videos.
Members of Swank Mag get access to the entire Swank Pass network of sites. 12 sites are included, with lots more wild hardcore action.

The Cons

Older content quality lacking.

They've got a few years of material here, and the older scenes just aren't as sharp as the newer ones. The movies play at around 800k and are quite grainy. With a site that has been around this long, it just comes with the territory, just keep in mind that not all of the scenes are up to today's standards.

Minor Negatives:

There are some member's area ads. They really clutter up the site and detract from the network's own content.
Plain design. This is some kind of site script that I've seen many times before so the actual layout of the pages is a bit repetitive. The actual look of the site is pretty plain. It's more function over form.
The video viewing options are inconsistent. Some of the scenes have iPod and Flash options, some are wmv only and some are actually only offered in Flash! It's a mixed bag.

Bottom Line

An entertaining archive of Swank pics and vids on a user-friendly site.

Swank Mag does a solid job at bringing their years of experience in the paper porn world to the digital porn world. The site is large and user-friendly. The network access and discount price also make it a very good value. Quality was a weak spot, and for a professional company like this, that's not an issue to be overlooked. Still, overall it's an entertaining package that's worth a look.
